How to choose this product
A RoRo forklift truck is a utility vehicles capable of lifting, moving and depositing Roll-on/Roll-off ship cargo via ramps along the vessel's flank.
These forklifts are mostly used to load and unload RoRo vessels at the ports, terminals and factories they transit. Of course, they also can be employed in other circumstances.
Such vehicles usually have a driver's cabin and forks, generally attached to a telescopic lift mechanism. Some have four-wheel steering, enabling them to turn in their own length. This gives them great maneuverability. The engine can be diesel or electric. Their moderate height allows them to pass through the cargo access doors along the ship's flank.
How to choose
Choice will depend on the nature of the cargo to be transported, its maximum weight and the type of vessel to be loaded and unloaded.
