PRO-SET 125 Resin is a low viscosity resin that provides fast and thorough wetting of the laminate fibers. The low viscosity 125 Resin mixtures are ideal for working with thick fiber weaves and bundles, and result in a cured laminate with a higher fiber-to-resin ratio. Can be blended with 145 resin.

Included are two fire retardant resins that can be used with a couple of hardeners to control cure speed. One resin is very low viscosity and can be used with resin infusion methods. The other is a thixotroped resin that works well for hand wet out or use in an impregnating machine. Refer to XR02-099-28A/226 and XR02-099-28A/237 for the low viscosity versions. See the data sheets for XR02-099-29A/226 and XR02-099-29A/237 for the thixotroped products.

PRO-SET Custom Laminating Epoxies are formulated for the manufacture of lightweight, high-performance composites of glass, aramid, carbon fiber or hybrids, using contact molding, vacuum bag and resin infusion procedures. They bond to all fabrics, core materials, wood and metal. Through the use of a compatible tie coat, PRO-SET Custom Laminating Epoxies can be used with in-mold gelcoats to provide a full range of composite capabilities.
These Epoxies are formulated to yield an increased crosslink density in the epoxy matrix for superior heat resistance and moisture-exclusion effectiveness, with excellent fatigue and toughness properties. Extensive fatigue testing and infield use have demonstrated that PRO-SET Laminating Epoxies produce lightweight structures with an exceptional ability to withstand cyclic loading in harsh environments.
PRO-SET Custom Laminating Epoxies not only provide the necessary mechanical and thermal properties for high-performance composites, they are formulated to meet a wide range of process requirements for the composites manufacturing industry.

SilverTip Laminating Resin is a medium-low viscosity, liquid epoxy resin system that has been optimized for coating and reinforcing fabric saturation in wood-composite boatbuilding. It will outperform any other product in these applications. SilverTip Laminating Resin is designed for use with fiberglass, Kevlar, Dynel and graphite as well as on bare wood. It has superior wet-out characteristics with little tendency to foam or trap air. Both the resin and hardener are nearly colorless and are used in an easy 2:1 volumetric ratio. SilverTip Laminating Resin cures to a brilliant blush-free film with either the fast or slow hardener eliminating secondary bonding concerns as experienced with other epoxies. The working time is longer than most boat building epoxies without extending cure time. The cured film is tough and resilient with better heat resistance than other epoxies cured at room temperature. Fillers, wood flour, and bulking agents can be combined with SilverTip Laminating Resin, however, we suggest using the other members of the SilverTip Series for adhesive, filleting and fairing applications.

Crestapol 1220PA is a tough, impact resistant, laminating resin which has been designed for high performance applications.
Product Characteristics
Crestapol 1220PA should be allowed to attain workshop temperature (18°C-20°C) before use. It is cured by the addition of 1-2% Catalyst M (Butanox M50) which should be thoroughly incorporated into the resin.
