A clima inverter chiller is a system which can be installed in the engine compartment. This chiller unit will control its capacity according to what is being demand in its surroundings due to the applied inverter compressor technology. There is no current peak when switching on the compressor! The chiller unit supplies cold/hot water (glycol) which flows through a tubing circuit and fan coil units, (through which air is pulled at the same time) and as a result it cools/heats the surrounding areas. This system can cool any given area/cabin, and the temperature and airflow can be controlled and adjusted separately. The sum of the capacity of the fan coil units, which have to function at the same time, results in the total capacity of the chiller unit. Furthermore this system is equipped with a diesel heater, heat exchanger and boiler function. The heat exchanger can be connected to the cooling system of the main engine or generator, for interior or boiler heating. The boiler function can be connected to the diesel heater or heat exchanger, and can function simultanious with the cooling function.
To install the entire unit any cool-technical know-how is not required. A complete system consists out of the chiller unit, fan coil units and thermostats.

The hydraulic driven chiller unit is a system which can be placed in the engine room. This chiller unit is equipped with a hydraulic driven cool compressor, circulation pump and sea water pump (intergrated). The system is driven by a hydraulic installation (mostly already present on board) and a battery supply of 24VDC. This chiller unit supplies a tubing circuit through the boat with cold water (glycol).

Wenn Standardgeräte nicht passen, muss individueller Kühlraum geschaffen werden. Dazu sind WAECO ColdMachine Kühlaggregate da. Dank vorgefülltem Kältemittel und selbstdichtender Ventilkupplungen eignen sie sich bestens für den Selbsteinbau. Sie stehen in drei verschiedenen Serien zur Verfügung, um jedem Anwendungsfall gerecht zu werden. ColdMachine Kühlaggregate arbeiten mit leistungsgeregelten Danfoss BDF-Kompressoren. Sie sind leistungsstark, sparsam, superleise, schräglagenunabhängig, anschlussfertig für 12/24 Volt DC. Die als Ergänzung angebotenen Verdampfer wurden optimal auf die jeweilige Kompressorleistung abgestimmt.
Leistungsangepasste Kompressoren
Jedes Kühlsystem besteht aus Kompressor, Kondensator und Verdampfer. Damit es effektiv arbeiten kann, müssen die drei Hauptkomponenten perfekt miteinander harmonieren. So sind im WAECO Programm viele unterschiedliche Kondensatoren und Verdampfer zu finden, die hier optimale Zusammenstellungen ermöglichen.
