- The SEA245-A3 is a highly integrated and compact solid state MF/HF SSB Radiotelephone transceiver with internal DSC Controller. The SEA245 is to be Type Certified for Sea Area A3 GMDSS stations and is also suitable in any general purpose MF/HF radiotelephone application.

The range of SAILOR MF/HF products comprise 150W, 250W and 500W solutions which are all GMDSS approved. They have been designed and developed to cope with the demand for reliable communication equipment under the tough conditions at sea. Ease of use and high performance are important issues both in daily communication as well as in critical situations and the SAILOR MF/HF solutions are developed to fulfil these requirements.
The range of SAILOR MF/HF radios in system 4000 includes 150W, 250W and 500W solutions. All three systems are designed to meet the requirements for professional communications equipment on board vessels world-wide.
The SAILOR MF/HF 500W is an integrated system with voice, DSC and radio-telex built into one unit. The system is very flexible and can be delivered in a number of different combinations in order to fulfil the individual needs onboard different types of vessels.
The SAILOR MF/HF 500W satisfies the MF/HF requirements for GMDSS requirements in sea area A2, A3 and A4.
The IC-M801GMDSS is designed for Class A DSC operation. With the optional AT-141 antenna tuner, it provides a complete GMDSS MF/HF communication system as required for Commercial Solas regulated vessels voyaging in the A2 sea area. The radio also meets MED 96/98/EC, "wheel mark" requirements for European merchant ships.
Alphanumeric readout: Seven characters can be programmed into each memory channel to conveniently display station names or ship names for simplified operation. 150W output power: A large cooling fan system, in combination with the aluminum chassis, allows conditions for transmission at a full 150W* (PEP) RF output power-even during demanding RTTY (radio teletype) operation.
