7 different mould designs represent the complete range of Sykes Fours and Quads that we have on offer.
A recent development with our Sykes Fours and Quads has been to modify our boat internal designs to ensure that all of our boats meet FISA minimum flotation requirements.
Maintaining our committment to high quality materials and workmanship we offer a 5 Year Warranty on all Carbon Honeycomb and Kevlar Honeycomb boats and 2 Year Warranty on all Glass Honeycomb and Reinforced Fibreglass boats.
Drink bottle holders and Coxmate wiring harness and speakers are fitted as standard in our Carbon Honeycomb, Kevlar Honeycomb and Glass Honeycomb boats.

C-boats are outstanding suitable for the general rudder enterprise and for Gig boat regatta. The boats are very fast and easy. The first three variants (C-boat) have a high nose and tail leap (increase in the nose and tail range) thereby to have it outstanding Rauwassereigenschaften. The S-Class has a disk development and is clearly easier thereby, than the normal boats.
The Renngig S-Class has the same basic dimensions as the other C-boats (important for the permission to DRV regatta), but the boat has another hull form and is flatter. Thus this boat becomes particularly fast and easy (approx. 64kg).

The hull is made out of Kevlar and Glass in Sandwich construction. Carbon reinforcements and a Honeycomb deck give the boat enough stiffness. The rib is made out of carbon.

Outer and inner skin kevlar/carbonfiber reinforced sandwich material with nomex honeycombs. Frames reinforced with carbonfiber. Highest quality epoxy resin, same as used in aerospace industry. Vacuum bag technique is used to guarantee total bonding between outer layers and sandwich core. The combination of aramidfiber (kevlar) and epoxy resin results in a tear and impact resistance of the outer skin, that cannot be matched with other materials for the same weight.
Following innovations have been made: Extra reinforcement of the gunwale with additional full size carbon layer and employment of full carbon foam frames.

Janousek JL 4+/-/x
Longer than the Janousek VEB 4, Janousek JL mould is also narrower. The shell performs very well as a quadruple scull but requires more attention to balance and therefore more suited to more experienced crews for sweep rowing. This mould is available in coxed and coxless forms for crews ranging from 60-110kg. The Janousek 4 /-/x Long hull has 11 hull sizes dependent upon crew weight. Each mould has a 5kg average crew weight allowance, which allows boats to be build more specifically, unlike many other boat builders.

It is extremely popular with juniors and all categories of lightweight rowing. In the past it has won numerous World and Olympic gold medals in its class and continues to dominate both international and national rowing regattas. It benefits from parallel sax boards that make frig rigging a simple operation.

The Hammerhead hulls have been specifically designed to provide a more comfortable and stable rowing platform while maintaining outstanding performance characteristics.
Shark Features
Speed & Stability: Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) optimization employed to create faster and more forgiving hulls
Speed: hull form creates more hydrodynamic lift providing a more responsive and lighter feel
Stability: unprecedented reduction in pitching (longitudinal) and roll (side to side tipping)
Comfort: wider, deeper, adjustable foot stance allowing optimal gender specific force application
Comfort: wider slide tracks allow leg lockout, eliminating calve bruising and slide bites

Janousek JS 4x/-
Similar to the FISA Short Pair/Double, the Janousek JS 4 is recognised as the fastest shape in its category for oarsmen and women between 60kg and 80kg. This shape is extremely popular with all categories of lightweight and junior rowing. In the past this hull shape has won number World Champion and Olympic medals, and continues to dominate both international and national rowing regattas.

The new Odyssey, with a durable Gelcoat finish, is our technologically advanced interpretation of the traditional European Touring boat. Based on the construction methodology of our Club Racer shells, Odyssey is designed for longer or overnight excursions on river, lake or coastline.
The WinTech Odyssey can add to your social events. A group can pack a lunch and row to an island or other spot and enjoy a picnic or plan longer excursions to interesting sites. These boats are popular in Europe for both recreation and special racing and we think they'll catch on in the US as well, once people discover the comfortable coxswain/passenger seating and the increased capacity for storing tents, food and other equipment.
The Odyssey's defined keel enhances tracking, the large rudder increases maneuverability and the v-shaped bow pierces waves. The defined keel also has a metal strip to protect the boat when landing on the shore. Single skin below the water line offers impact resistance.
