The Evolution Marine Shaft System (EMSS) is a complete shaft system from engine for boats to propeller for boat. It's comprised of two major components: 1) the "oil-lubricated section" containing a '22' allow stainless steel shaft enclosed in a 316L stainless steel shaft marine log tube with aft bearing housing and forward thrust bearing housing, and 2) the internal connecting shaft with a splined slip joint and flexible joints at each end.
Other system components include the engine adapter, mounting flanges, and monitor tank for boat with its fittings and hoses.

EASYTURN Waterlubricated rubberbearings are used worldwide because of its excellent properties. It is the soft kind of rubber, the smart flute profile, the design and the high quality that persuades our customers worldwide to choose for EASYTURN rubberbearings instead of other suppliers. EASYTURN rubberbearings are available in an extremely wide range of standard sizes, most deliverable from stock.
Spiral fluted bearings for boats have some advantages above the straight fluted type. E.g. the shaft is always supported by more than one pad for boats, the shaft can not sink in a groove, better lubrication because pump-working of the bearing, reduces vibrations even better etc. For more information, please contact us! |

Seals have been developed to operate on propeller for boat shafts of small, medium and large size boats where a high level of reliability is required.
The special design allows large axial displacement and the use of suitable material guarantees as well as high resistance to corrosion and high mechanical resistance to withstand stresses produced by vibrations.
The installation of mechanical seals in this particular field has solved problems such as corrosion during long periods of inactivity and shaft damage caused by traditional stuffing boxes. Power absorption is considerably reduced as well. |

Action of the AxiSeal
The AxiSeal is an axial seal. A totally different way of sealing from a radial seal, like the conventional stuffingbox or lip-type seal. With a radial seal the sealing marine rings run directly on the boat propeller shaft. This often causes wear of the sealing rings and the propeller for boat shaft within a short period. With leakage as result. The AxiSeal seals axial (parallel to the shaft direction).
The together with the propeller shaft rotating, self centring Silicon Carbide (SiC) rotary face runs against a Silicon Carbide (SiC) stationary seat for boat. By "lapping" both of these surfaces the right way, a lubricating film is built up during the rotating of the propeller shaft. This results in a very low friction coefficient. This guarantees a long life. |

The simplest way to keep your marine propeller and shaft free from fouling marine ropes and submerged debris, the Shaft Razor Cutter has been tested and marketed in Europe for several years and is now available through The Evolution Company Inc. The Shaft Razor Cutter can be installed where there is little space on the shaft
The Shaft Razor Cutter consists of a machined circular blade manufactured from a high grade of stainless steel (316L) with a sharp serrated cutting edge. It is accurately machined to the shaft diameter and kept securely in place by set screws to the shaft. Once installed, the Shaft Razor Cutter rotates with the shaft and gently cuts anything that becomes entangled on the shaft/propeller. installation consists of simply removing the propeller and sliding the Shaft Razor Cutter onto the shaft and tightening the set-screws.
The Shaft Razor Cutter can be installed where there is little space on the shaft.

An Aquadrive system will reduce structure borne noise and vibration by up to 90%. It will reduce overall noise levels by up to 75%. It will end shaft alignment problems on installation, and for ever more!
It will allow the engine for boat to be installed flat, because the Aquadrive allows angles between the engine and the shaft. It will ease problems when re-engining. And it’s a gift when re-engining an older boat.

Soundown Flexible Shaft Couplings are available for a range of thrust and non-thrust applications. These are very effective at reducing structureborne gear noise. We deliver these couplings for main marine propulsion systems ranging from 200 hp through 2500 hp. All Flexible Shaft Couplings are delivered with custom mating flanges to adapt specifically to your gearbox installation. All coupling specifications are reviewed for high performance and long life based on the unique criteria of each installation.

Poly Flex flexible disc couplings are manufactured from high strength engineering polymers that are resistant to fuels and oils for boats.
For further information and specifications on Poly Flex disc couplings please complete the following form, we will establish the coupling which is suitable for your application from the information supplied and fax/email information to you.
It should be noted that if your gearbox has any obstructions such as oil marine pumps, etc, near the output flange it may be necessary to fit an adaptor between the gearbox flange and the coupling.
It may be necessary that we contact you for more detailed information to make the most suitable coupling selection. |

The anti-vibration system
The Aquadrive system solves a problem that's a century old; the fact that marine engines for boats are installed on soft boat engine mounts and then attached almost rigidly to the propellershaft. The very logic of the Aquadrive is inescapable. An engine that is vibrating on soft mounts needs total freedom of movement from its driveshaft if noise and vibration are not to be transmitted to the hull. The Aquadrive provides just this freedom of movement Add to this the fact that the Aquadrive allows the use of even softer engine mounts and prevents those mounts from pushing the boat along by removing propeller for boat thrust, this eliminates the need for accurate engine alignment to be either achieved or maintained and even allows for deliberate angles between engine and shaft - an Aquadrive becomes a necessity. |

The Evolution Flexible Shaft Coupling (EFSC) solves misalignment, absorbs and dampens shock loads and shaft vibrations, prolongs the life of machinery, and isolates metal-to-metal for quietness.
The EFSC is comprised of four major components: 1) a spool flange machined to bolt directly to the reduction flange; 2) a large circular rubber flex joint that's replaceable; 3) a split flange coupling for the shaft with pinch bolts, set bolts, and keyway; 4) a retainer cover for boat that serves to protect the rubber flex joint, capture all bolts, and improve overall strength of the unit.
The Evolution Flexible Shaft Coupling uses quality construction and few parts and is easily installed.
