Model: IMSV
Category: Mini Probe
Work Capabilities: Sound Velocity Calculation in Water
Operation depth: 2000 Mt
Weight: 4kg
The Ageotec IMSV Mini Sound Velocity Probe and Profiler is a high quality Mini Probe with CTD sensors for real time Sound velocity calculation in water. Sound velocity is one of the parameters on which are based acoustic systems measurements, which need accurate and reliable data for correct output.
IMSV is also characterized by high stability, simple interfacing with other device, memory capacity up to 200.000 data sets and more reliability and strength then devices based on SV sensor.
Can be mounted on ships, submarines, ROV and AUV
Applications include:
Calibration of acoustic systems (MBE, SBE)
Direct reading and self recording profiling
Sound velocity is calculated with Chen and Millero Formula
IMSV exists in two Versions:
Slim model for vessel mounting (IMSV)
Standard model for profiling (IMSVP)

The Actisense Active Depth/Speed/Temperature transducer is the best solution for supplying NMEA Depth, Speed/Log and Temperature to an NMEA 0183 compatible chart plotter, radar, or on-board laptop PC.
Our industry proven depth sounder algorithm has the best-in-class seabed tracking, couple that to the processing electronics only a centimetre from the depth transducer, and the performance obtained is truly the best possible, tracking the seabed down to 0.3m (1 foot).
100W peak depth power enables a maximum depth range of 200m or 660 feet) under optimum conditions with the P66 or P79 transducer. A 235 KHz depth transducer frequency is used for enhanced interference rejection from surface noise and other transducers nearby. A built-in Log transducer (DST model only) and Temperature thermistor allow additional data to be provided on the NMEA 'bus', giving a cable saving.
Easy reprogramming using free software available on the Actisense™ website, allows the software to be updated as many times as required with the very latest software enhancements, or special purpose software such as the fish-finder/hydrograph software upgrade.
The data interface is configured as an NMEA 0183 interface, but can operate as a fully bidirectional RS485 interface for customised applications, such as on-board multiple depth sounder networks.

The Simrad 120-25 is a single-beam transducer protected by a robust housing. The solid interior enables it to withstand the pressure at a depth of 1000 m.
|
|
The Simrad 710-36G is a single-beam transducer in a small housing, intended for portable use and for level measurements inside tanks.
|
|
12 kHz, single or dual beam echo sounder transducer
The Simrad 12-16/60 is a 12 kHz dual beam transducer with 19 tonpilz elements. It can be set up for dual or single beam use.
|
|
The Simrad ES70-11 is a split-beam transducer in a streamlined housing. It can be mounted outside the vessel hull or on a towed foil. The transducer has 36 piezoceramic elements arranged in four quadrants. It can also be used as a single-beam transducer by connecting the four quadrants two and two, first in parallel and then in series.
|
|
To meet an increasing demand for a high frequency split beam transducer for towed bodies, Simrad has now developed the ES200-7CD. This is a composite transducer offering high resolution and large bandwidth. The capability to operate within a large frequency band makes it the ideal choice for scientists using frequency sweeps and short pulse lengths to identify species in the biomass.

Depth Transducer TH43 Silva classic 43mm through hull;
Measures the water depth. This 43mm transducer can be connected either direct to the Sea Data or to a WSI connection box. Depth can either be displayed as distance from the transducer, or adjusted to show from the surface. Built from durable glass-filled polyester the transducer can be retracted as required to reduce fouling and comes with a dummy plug for long-term storage.
