WAS-Korea is a system supplier within the marine industry. We specialize in the building of prefabricated bathroom and cabin modules and corridor lining panels for marine projects. WAS modules have been installed in various types of commercial ships, RoRo ships, RoPax vessels, various tankers, offshore platforms, ferries, passenger ships and cruise ships, as well as hotels.
The floorless cabin concept is patented internationally and covers everything from a mock-up to a ready-made module with all furnishings.
The entire cabin area, from design to outfitting, can be outsourced to WAS-Korea. We start with the ship's general information, architectural plans and space requirements. From this data we design the accommodation area for the ship, make a mock-up plan (after order) for the entire cabin area, purchase all materials used, and manufacture and assemble the modules at our facilities in BaeDun. We supply and install on board the modules and corridor linings according to the agreed delivery schedule.
The one-piece cabin module is ready to be fixed to the deck Each cabin module includes walls, ceiling, cabling, lights, telephone sockets, furniture, air conditioning/ventilation, sprinkler piping, and the toilet unit. When the steel construction of the deckhouse is ready onboard the ship and the main lines and insulation have been installed, the self-supporting cabin unit is lifted in one piece through a suitable opening in the ship. The cabin unit is then ready to be fixed to the deck and connected to the ship's mains. All connections are located in the service area of the shower room, which is accessible from the corridor.

LUBMOR produces cooling rooms:
for minus temperatures (i.e. -26oCC) in which food products can be stored, e.g. meat, fish,
for plus temperatures (i.e. +4oCC) for vegetables, drinks, dry products.
Cooling rooms constitute a complex of rooms built of panels (floor, wall, ceiling and door panels) of sandwich type which are filled with thermo-insulating foam. In this foam there are catching hooks which connect panels when twisted. At places where various equipment is installed, various plywood strengthening are provided inside panels.
Walls and ceilings of rooms can be made of stainless or PVC foil covered sheets. Floor surface can be covered with ceramic tiles, stainless riffled sheet or plywood.
Rooms can have different shape or size. The doors in minus temperature rooms are fitted with heating system protecting seal against freezing to the door frame. The lock is designed in the way enabling a person which is accidentally locked in the cooling room to unlock the door from the inside.
LUBMOR produces also a full range of cooling room equipment. It covers steel racks (stainless or galvanised), wooden, meat lifting slings, tables and gratings. Additionally, cooling rooms can be delivered with pipe passages, cable passages and sewages.
