Waterproof, endurance, functionality and elegance
Made of austenitic stainless steel, with a slim-line aerodynamic profile, just 19 mm higher than the cover, Nemo hatches combine aesthetic elegance with practicality of use and excellent durability:
-The welding carried out with a TIG computerized system, degreased, pickled and passivated to guarantee shine and to protect the metal cover.
-Polishing carried out by a controlled-robot so that the crystalline structure remains unaltered.
-The seals made of closed-cell thermoplastic material, they guarantee waterproofing and endurance.
-The locking handles allow the hatch to be blocked even in an intermediary position to change air. They are fitted with safety catches on the inside (in AISI stainless steel 316L) to keep out unwanted visitors.
-Beside locking handles it is possible to ask for the optional visual alarm and the outside/inside lock with key
-It is possible also to have as optional ABS ivory colored internal frame, removable mosquito-nets and darkening panels, both done in ABS too.

-The best materials 30 micron anodised light aluminium alloy, 10 and 12 mm thick tough unbreakable Plexiglas, marine neoprene rubber, nylon reinforced with fiberglass, austenitic steel;

-Perfect waterproofing thanks to careful welding of all the frames and to a perfect matching of the fixed and mobile parts;
-A superlative finish all surfaces and corners are carefully smoothed and rounded off.

Hatch frame is constructed from heavy gauge extruded aluminum. Choice of diamond plate or smooth plate door is riveted to full-length hinge for maximum durability and performance. Size indicates cutout dimensions only, actual hatch size is slightly larger.

Rutgerson manufactures portlights for both motor and sailing boats. The flexible construction means that the portlights fit hulls from 8 mm (0.32") to 66 mm (2.6") thick.
The materials have been very carefully selected: special Swedish stainless steel,

The High Seas hatch features a full welded wrought aluminum frame design, with Taylor Made® weather resistant polyester powder coating. Meeting the challenging rigors and elements that are associated with sailing and offshore cruising. A 3/8" thick acrylic lens provides strength, ensures privacy, yet allows plenty of light. Available in various colors. Easy-to-use security latch system provides peace of mind, even when in the vent lock position. High Seas positive locking support arms are impervious to vibration and can be adjusted to open to any position. Inspection Covers allow access to remote areas - behind bulkheads inside water tanks or under decks. Two models are available. The screw thread closure with an 'O' ring seal in four sizes ensures watertight security. available in black, white or clear.
The economy cover in three sizes which has a fast non-watertight bayonet action will operate even when fitted to slight curvatures. Available in black or white, R2033 white only.
