SELF-BEARING GANGWAY - FUNCTIONALITY WITHOUT BARRIERS
The Martini Marinas self-bearing gangway represents an authentic innovation regarding the traditional gangways: it eliminates any architectural barrier that inhibits access to the handicapped, making easy the passage from the pontoon to the dock and vice versa.
The gangway is fixed to the dock by a special steel base having a device allowing both horizontal and vertical rotations. The connection to the pontoon is made by two joint knees, analogous to those used for the floating modules. The gangway has the same width of the pontoon. The result is a continuous communication between the water and the dock, no steps along the dunnage, perfect for the transport of heavy materials on cart up to the boat. The Martini Marinas self-bearing gangway is an innovative solution that also in conditions of strong backwash grants the constant connection between land and pontoons.

GatorDock Gangways serve two major functions:
(1) to span across relatively short and shallow water areas to a floating dock system, or;
(2) to provide access from a fixed pier or bulkhead to a floating dock system that vertically adjusts to water level.
