Cataglop Light is a boat dedicated to the cleaning up of harbours and coastal areas, operating up to 6 nautical miles away from the shore.
Its “V” hull allows an 8 knots cruising speed and its integrated floats are built with watertight compartments.
Entirely, built out of aluminium, Cataglop Light is road gauge standard and is easily transportable on a trailer, towed by a light vehicle. It can be launched from a slipway due to its integrated wheels .
Strong points
- Improved V hull design for vessel speed combined with stability
- Integrated wheels allowing launching by only one person
- Recovery of hydrocarbons and macrowaste
- Easily transportable on its road gauge trailer
- Built in aluminium 5083
- Long distance transport by ISO 40 feet container

A multi-purpose boat for cleaning both hydrocarbon spills and solid waste from harbours and inland and sheltered waters...
Genuine «vacuum cleaner of the sea», CATAGLOP is especially dedicated to collecting floating solid and liquid waste.
It combines robustness and simplicity; it is also a multi-purpose boat.
It collects up floating solid waste, even in difficult-to-get-at areas :
- solid floating waste (wood, plastics, polystyrene, algae...) is collected in a pivoting basket which is automatically emptied into an on board container.
- liquid floating waste (oils and hydrocarbons) are stored floating in a separator tank.
Strong points
- Conceived within road gauge standards, it is launched by a crane.
- Simple to use, very manoeuvrable, it is provided with rollers to clean along the quayside.
- Multi-use :
- fire fighting
- suction of soiled waters
- built out of aluminium 5086

Rapid reaction outside harbour areas...
Cataglop XL has been especially designed to collect up macro-waste and floating hydrocarbons in coastal areas up to 6 nautical miles from the shore, near beaches, rocky areas, cliffs, ...
It has a cruising speed of 6,5 knots.
It collects floating waste, even in difficult to get at areas :
- Solid floating waste (wood, plastics, polystyrene, algae...) are collected in a pivoting basket which is automatically emptied into an on board container
- Liquid floating waste (oils and hydrocarbons) are stored floating in a separator tank, without any emulsion, and transfered to earth with a motorized pump
Strong points
- Its cruising speed allows a daily work on several areas (harbours, beaches, cliffs...)
- Its storage capacity can be increased thanks to a towed flexible reservoir
- Equiped with removable flexible booms wich increase its operating width
- Fire fighting
- Built in 5083 aluminium

Offshore Oil Spill Recovery Vessel
Offshore oil spill recovery vessel for use with major oil slicks and discharges. Catamar can work efficiently up to force 5 and with a clean up rate of 100 m3/hr continuously.
A turbine creates the flow, sucking in the hydrocarbons.
This flow between the twin hulls of Catamar is towards a tank equipped with a mesh to hold back solid waste.
Storage
For a pollution lower than 50m3 or a degasification, the own storage capacity of CATAMAR is sufficient.
In case of major pollution, recovered hydrocarbons are progressively transferred from the Jumbo25 into a bunker barge sailing behind the Jumbo25 (bunker barge storage capacity: 1000 to 8000 m3 maximum).
200 m3 bladders equipped with an integrated screw pump can be stored on the deck increasing Jumbo's own storage capacity while waiting for the bunker barge to arrive.
Performances
Considering the weather conditions in the working area, CATAMAR performs as follows:
- Beaufort force 3 included : 70000 m 2 cleaned / hour with her arms covering a 10 m width
- From and above Beaufort force 4: 20000 m 2 cleaned / hour on a 3 meter band with
