`Electric Rope` gives a stylish and practical solution to the ongoing battle against ugly grimy shore cables and their deck dirtying ways. Unlike existing shore cables which provide power to your boat from the Quay, `Electric rope` provides an added sheath of protection to the existing PVC/rubber encased electrical cable which is susceptible to damage and erosion from harsh coastal environmental exposure.
This neatly fitted double bonded polyester cover ensures:
• excellent UV resistance
• abrasion protection
• effective oil and gasoline defiant properties
• stows neatly due to the braided property of the rope
• rot resistant
• extremely durable
• your boat remains elegant and clean
`Electric Rope` prevents the power cable becoming tacky, dirty and unpleasant to handle, and provides an elegant alternative to the existing industrial looking electric cables ill suitable in the boating world.
Thanks to the soft polyester braided cover of “Electric Rope”, marks and sticky residue will become a thing of the past; as dragging your cable across the deck of your pristine boat will no longer scratch your flawless surface or require scrubbing.
We produce Data cables covered with this protective cover providing a more maritime feel and less of an industrial look to the interior of boats.

Sold separately or with a furler, this new patented system from Karver allows to lock the stay and the sail on the mast very easily. From 1,5T to 15T
|
|
The KF-H (patented) is the only system on the market that combines the furling and the locking mechanism in the same unit.
The lock mechanism allows to lock the swivel, the halyard and the sail directly onto the mast.
The lock works automatically using the halyard to lock and to unlock.
Used for flying sails (such as staysails and gennakers) it replaces the usual block system where luff tension comes from the long 2/1 or 3/1 halyard and a lot of compression in the mast.
The system and the sail are locked on the mast and the luff is tensioned from the bottom by a 2/1 or 3/1 purchase placed under the lower part of the furler.
The compression in the mast is minimized and it is possible to use a smaller and lighter halyard as it only carries the weight of the sail.
Once the system is dropped on deck, there is only the very light hollowed male end remaining on the mast and the furling-lock mechanism is on deck and accessible for maintenance.
EXCLUSIVE ADVANTAGES OF THE K-FH
-no more structural halyard
-no more blocks above the swivel
-less compression in mast = safer
-smaller halyard diameter = lighter
-straighter sail luff
-very light weight at the top of the mast when system is not in use.
