CMC's fin mechanical actuators are simple, long-lasting and flexible: three key traits that allow for easy installation and maintenance.
All steel parts are given a surface coating to protect them from the corrosive effects of the marine environment and come with a 24-month warranty.
CMC currently has various sizes of mechanical actuators for vessels starting at 24 meters.

CMC Marine stabilizer fins are the tangible result of extensive research.
Being stabilization fin design extremely important to offset the effect of vessel rolling, at CMC great attention has been paid to the fluid-dynamics analysis, the result being a profile geometry that achieves a successful compromise between the load capacity (Cl) and resistance (Cd ) coefficients. These results are also fine-tuned by taking into account the limitations imposed by the yacht's hull form and limitations. High Cl levels are obtained with low incidence angles, minimizing both the effects of drag and system inertia.
Stabilizer fin sizes range from 0.75sqm to 4sqm.

STABILIZER Model 160
For vessels from 30-42ft (9-13m)
The NAIAD Model 160 Fin Actuator Assembly is designed for efficiency, power and rugged reliability. It is supplied completely factory tested under pressure, assembled and ready for installation including all required hardware and fittings. Unlike other systems, no disassembly is required for installation. NAIAD Fin Actuator Assemblies are recognized the world over as the industry standard for excellence.
The hardened and passivated stainless steel fin shaft, supported by dual heavy-duty tapered roller bearings within a reinforced cast and machined housing, features a precision-machined self-locking taper for secure connection with the fin on one end, and a high capacity splined connection to the torque arm on the inboard end. This installer-friendly design allows the Assembly to be mounted in any convenient angular (360º) orientation. The powerful double acting hydraulic cylinder rapidly and accurately positions the torque arm, shaft and fin, as commanded by the stabilizer’s control system, using hydraulic servo valves with closed-loop continuous direct-acting fin position feedback. Double lower shaft seals mounted in a stainless steel retainer keep the factory-applied severe duty marine bearing grease in and seawater out. Guaranteed leak proof, NAIAD seals benefit from the extraordinarily precise machined fits obtained in NAIAD’s state-of–the–art manufacturing facility. The Model 160 is built to last and is virtually maintenance-free.

STABILIZER Model 520
For vessels from 130-160ft (39-49m)
The NAIAD Model 520 Fin Actuator Assembly is designed for efficiency, power and rugged reliability. It is supplied completely factory tested under pressure, assembled and ready for installation including all required hardware and fittings. Unlike other systems, no disassembly is required for installation. NAIAD Fin Actuator Assemblies are recognized the world over as the industry standard for excellence.

This installer-friendly design allows the Assembly to be mounted in any convenient angular (360º) orientation. Two powerful double acting hydraulic cylinders rapidly and accurately position the torque arm, shaft and fin, as commanded by the stabilizer's control system, using electro-hydraulic servo valves with closed-loop continuous electronic fin position feedback. Double lower shaft seals mounted in a stainless steel retainer keep the factory-applied severe duty marine bearing grease in and seawater out. Guaranteed leak proof, NAIAD seals benefit from the extraordinarily precise machined fits obtained in NAIAD's state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Problem? sizing stabilizer fins for the modern yacht hull form… creating fins large enough to perform both underway and at anchor without exceeding the hull envelope… or, keeping your OnAnchor™ or ZeroSpeed™ installation a two-fin installation instead of four…
Solution! Quantum XT™ fins, patented innovation from the world standard for yacht stabilizers, underway or at anchor. XT™ fins extend to provide additional lift while in ZeroSpeed™ or OnAnchor™ mode, and then retract for less drag while underway.

With a WESMAR stabilizer system on board, you can relax and enjoy a comfortable trip. You can go anywhere you want without worrying about the swells of the sea, injuries to your passengers, or damage to your boat or cargo. WESMAR’s electronic stabilizing system automatically adjusts your vessel motion for maximum comfort, resisting up to 90% of the rolls in most seas. The result is smooth vessel motion that is continually and automatically adjusted for current sea conditions.

DIA-LOG is an electronic control system with a double adjustment ring, developed entirely in digital technology. The inertia unit identifies and processes vessel rolling. The signals are instantly processed by the electronic regulator, which directs each fin to the required position at a certain speed for generating a suitable righting effect.
DIA-LOG's flexibility can be seen in any conditions (including rough sea and anchored vessels). Moreover, easy diagnostics are a routine feature due to an archiving system of all data.

Reliable low noise fixed displacement hydraulic vane pumps are supplied standard on NAIAD Models 160, 174, 1018, 252, and 254. Much more efficient than gear pumps, these premium quality pumps are physically small relative to their output power. They easily mount to your main engine, marine gear, or other power source. Rotation, keyed or splined shaft, and SAE A or B flange configurations are in stock to match vessel requirements.
Pressure compensated axial piston pumps of the highest quality are supplied standard on all mid range and larger NAIAD Systems (model 302 and above). These pumps automatically vary flow to match hydraulic demand for high efficiency and minimal power consumption resulting in substantially cooler operating temperatures and long component life. Rotation, keyed or splined shaft, and SAE B or C flange configurations are in stock to match vessel requirements.
All NAIAD pumps may be provided pre-assembled to a highly efficient Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled AC electric motor in 50 or 60Hz. These power packages are supplied with a soft starter to minimize inrush current during start-up. Specify ship’s voltage, phase and frequency.
