Dramatic is the only word that even comes close to describing the performance of a TRAC marine stabilizer system compared to any first generation boat stabilizer. Other boat stabilizing products provide some degree of "roll dampening" but the TRAC marine stabilizer virtually eliminates roll altogether!
Solid state inertial sensors feed the TRAC's control processor with vessel roll and heel angle data in real time. TRAC's stabilizer fin angle of attack is adjusted over 200 times per second to create roll countering lift the instant it is detected.
"In marine stabilization, speed is the key. You must stop roll before it starts otherwise you end up fighting the vessel's momentum as well as the forces of the sea, and that's a losing battle. The lightning fast reaction time of the TRAC marine stabilizer processor is key to its premium performance.

Stabilis Electra is the revolutionary system being offered by CMC Marine to overcome the problem of diminished dynamics of a mechanical actuator. Stabilis Electra uses a new generation of actuator to move a fin stabiliser connected to a DC motor with a permanent magnet.
This solution greatly simplifies the hardware for the electronic control system which in turn is much more flexible and powerful versus a control system for a hydro-mechanical system.
Moreover, this allows for the control of the fin system with input from various reference parameters such as: power, torque, speed, position and power absorption, to create new highly sophisticated and adaptable control algorithms.
Stabilis Electra therefore offers significant advantages, both in terms of performance and capital cost:
- Faster response at a higher frequency.
- No significant loss of power.
- Faster rotating speed which helps tremendously when at anchor.
- A reduction in the power absorption of 50% compared to a traditional hydro-mechanical actuator.
- Less volume.
- Less installed power.
- Lower installation costs due to simpler mechanics and a reduction in the number of components.
- Greater flexibility with regards to the design and installation.

CMC Marine stabilizer fins are the tangible result of extensive research.
Being stabilization fin design extremely important to offset the effect of vessel rolling, at CMC great attention has been paid to the fluid-dynamics analysis, the result being a profile geometry that achieves a successful compromise between the load capacity (Cl) and resistance (Cd ) coefficients. These results are also fine-tuned by taking into account the limitations imposed by the yacht's hull form and limitations. High Cl levels are obtained with low incidence angles, minimizing both the effects of drag and system inertia.
Stabilizer fin sizes range from 0.75sqm to 4sqm.

Problem? sizing stabilizer fins for the modern yacht hull form… creating fins large enough to perform both underway and at anchor without exceeding the hull envelope… or, keeping your OnAnchor™ or ZeroSpeed™ installation a two-fin installation instead of four…
Solution! Quantum XT™ fins, patented innovation from the world standard for yacht stabilizers, underway or at anchor. XT™ fins extend to provide additional lift while in ZeroSpeed™ or OnAnchor™ mode, and then retract for less drag while underway.

With a WESMAR stabilizer system on board, you can relax and enjoy a comfortable trip. You can go anywhere you want without worrying about the swells of the sea, injuries to your passengers, or damage to your boat or cargo. WESMAR’s electronic stabilizing system automatically adjusts your vessel motion for maximum comfort, resisting up to 90% of the rolls in most seas. The result is smooth vessel motion that is continually and automatically adjusted for current sea conditions.

DIA-LOG is an electronic control system with a double adjustment ring, developed entirely in digital technology. The inertia unit identifies and processes vessel rolling. The signals are instantly processed by the electronic regulator, which directs each fin to the required position at a certain speed for generating a suitable righting effect.
DIA-LOG's flexibility can be seen in any conditions (including rough sea and anchored vessels). Moreover, easy diagnostics are a routine feature due to an archiving system of all data.

The list above includes our three models of fully electronic ARC controls featuring Adaptive Logic. Adaptive Logic is how our control system adjusts itself to changing sea conditions- the ARC knows how to respond. Slow rollers on the beam building after a day of steep chop? Not a problem for the ARC...
Which control model is for you? That will depend on the application. The 3000 is for roll stabilization. The 3001 is the model for fin stabilizers with ZeroSpeed™ and OnAnchor™ capabilities. The 3010 is for Ride Control, the ARCHER™ system for yachts capable of speeds in excess of 24 knots.
No matter which model is right for your vessel, the following standard features mean that you are looking at the finest yacht stabilizer control in the world today:
Standard:
- Microprocessor control
- State of the art solid-state roll sensing device- totally electronic, no mechanical gyro
- Full three term control- roll angle, roll rate, roll acceleration
- Adaptive Logic- responds and adapts to changing sea conditions

Bruntons Custom Division was set up to satisfy the growing demand for solutions to increasingly difficult propulsion problems. This specialist division has succeeded in providing clients around the world with the very latest technological answers to seemingly insoluble situations.
The company is able to draw on a full range of specialists who are all employed within the Bruntons Group. Not just naval architects and designers but also metallurgists and the highly experienced craftsmen who actually build the propellers and sterngear.
As yachts and commercial craft become more advanced in both design, and the materials from which they are constructed, it is not surprising that the likelihood of being able to get a propeller 'off the shelf' is proving more and more difficult. By working with clients naval architects early on in a vessels design stage, we are able to develop exactly the right propeller and sterngear for any craft.

A range of controllable pitch propellers is available with diameters up to approximately 8500 mm and rated for engine outputs of up to 30 000 kW.
MAN Diesel's advanced propeller blade design and calculation methods exploit the latest hydrodynamic theories and tank test results to create a propeller design that ensures maximum efficiency while maintaining low noise and low vibration characteristics.
Complete propulsion packages can be tailored to meet specific requirements by using these propellers in association with MAN Diesel two-stroke or four-stroke diesel engines and, where applications demand, reduction gearboxes

This type of propulsion system is particularly suited
to working vessels (tow-boats, fishing boats, river
bargers and pusher tugs) in the sea and on
rivers.
The nozzles can be of two types: "Fixed" or "Rotating"
(Steering Nozzles).
The advantages gained are the following:
- Reduction of propeller diameter;
- Reduction of propeller shaft and stern tube diameter;
- Reduction in vibrations, expecially in the wider stern as the nozzle regulates the water flow; - Reduction in ship's pitching when in rough waters;
- Increase in the propeller thrust to the tow and to the Bollard-Pull;
- Possible increase of ship speed by approx. 15%;
- Better performance from heavily loaded propellers, especially in shallow water;
- At the same conditions of speed, trawler work, Bollard-Pull, need 30% less power engine;
- The smaller engine cost, the reduction of fuel consuption, the high-performance of trasmission allow to recover the investiment within one or two years.
