In order to support the growth and development of the Techno 293 OD and Hybrid classes, BIC Windsurf developed the One Design Rig package for use specifically by youth sailors on hybrid boards. This rig package has been designed to be raced in the widest wind range possible, representing the best possible compromise between light wind pumping performance and high wind planing performance. The key features of these rigs include:
A huge wind range: from 6 to 30 knots. By tuning the downhaul and outhaul, the sail can be rigged either very full with a tight leech, or very flat with an open leech.
A draft placement at approx. 40% from the front of the sail (freeride sails = 30% / sub-planing sails = 50%), offering the best compromise between lightwind performance and high wind control.
6 batten / 2 cam configuration for the best compromise between weight and performance.
A very stable profile for ease of use and control in the high winds.
A tack strap tensioner for maximum tuning range and power in light winds.
X-Ply reinforcements in critical areas, durable luff pocket material and webbing batten tensioners for ease of use and practicality in a club and racing environment. Though you may not win every race in all wind conditions, the goal of the One Design sails is to make sure that you have the tools to win the regatta!

Its modern design gives it a wide wind range despite the absence of cambers. With plenty of sail area down low, it's got plenty of power to get you up and planing easily, with a smooth and steady pull allowing you to get into the harness and footstraps comfortably. With no cams it is easy to manoeuvre during gybes, tacks, and tricks. With its soft response it is a rig that is easy to control and simply fun to ride. The Cruiser comes with a quality mast and wishbone and is excellent value for money. It's ideal for all our freeride boards and for making your runs.
Delivered in a very practical sail bag that includes additional pockets for storing the mast and the mast base, and the possiblity to attach the boom so that it can be carried «all in one».

The CL244 boom cleat allows you to adjust your outhaul whilst sailing to achieve the ideal sail shape and keep ahead of the competition. The tooth design of the cleat allows a quick, positive lock that is easy to release.
The alloy cleat is fitted onto the boom by a strap that allows you to personalise the position, a rubber packing piece accomodates tapered or oval tubes.
We offer 3 sizes of stap to fit most booms, CL111,CL115 and CL134.
The CL111 and CL115 suite booms 110-116mm in circumference.
whilst the CL134 covers booms from 132-136mm circumference.

Apart from the direct environmental impact, the financial and public relations implications associated with an unforeseen pollution incident can be extremely damaging.
It is estimated that over 30 million gallons of oil is leaked from ships during normal operations in ports and harbours every year more than three times the Exxon Valdez oil spill. Machinery failure and human error are the major contributing factors. According to industry data, leakages of five to 1,000 tons have dropped dramatically in the last few years, but those under five tons have eased only marginally.
Swift initial containment response not only reduces environmental impact but also demonstrates that the responsible company or organisation has effectively planned to mitigate the risks associated with such unfortunate but inevitable incidents.
Over 80% of reported oil spills occur within port and harbour areas. However, the majority are small in size and result from normal operations such as loading and bunkering (MPCU 1997).
Sea Spill, a launchable emergency response containment system, has been specifically designed to provide a cost effective solution to these issues Launched from Restech range of PLT maxi and mini pneumatic systems, with extended range capabilities offered by SeaSam, the Sea Spill is effective even in strong wind and rough sea states.

The ROC Barrier (Rapid Oil Containment) - Extremely compact and easy to deploy. It ensures the rapid response and containment of oil spills unlike anything available in the marketplace today.
The ROC Barrier is the only oil containment system small enough to allow boats to store 1000%u2019 of barrier on board. Marinas, harbors, ports, beaches and other water entry points can store the ROC Barrier on site to allow rapid response to an oil spill. The film laminate used in the ROC Barrier is essentially a two dimensional product when stored and a third dimension (bulk) is added on deployment. The ROC Barrier will contain up to 100% of the oil in a spill without absorbing water. The oil can be reclaimed for use, dramatically reducing cleanup costs.

Resinex is specialist in permanent barriers: OSP. In this field, dimensions and materials utilizzed are coherent with the long life of the system. Floats, often of big size, are normally produced in roto-moulded polyethylene filled with polyurethane foam. The draught is usually manufactured with rubber or polyurethane fabric. Often, nets are utilizzed to maximize the anti-intrusion function.

At Pennel & Flipo, we have developed a very strong composite of PU and double-ply polyester to be used as permanent boom.
You can achieve easier deployment given the increased suppleness of our formulation.
Also, most competitors’ fabrics are press-coated, a process that allows threads to move to the surface of the coating, permitting water and pollutants to infiltrate, thereby reducing the abrasion resistance and the mechanical properties down the road.
Our process consists of laminating films of PU on 2 layers of weave, a process that ensures increased longevity. Given that the middle layer of the PU is protected by 2 weaves, it maintains its’ original properties over a much longer period of time.
We formulated a high end virgin Polyether PU, not blended, ensuring up to 3 times the abrasion resistance of competitive products. This heavy double-ply composite is not thermo-set, thereby allowing the welding of seams and accessories.

This innovation allows boom manufacturers, who are not equipped with rubber vulcanizing equipment, to compete in the high-end market of heavy-duty booms.
This 2-ply fabric is calendered in a way that includes pre-made chambers or channels that can be inflated or used as a ballast sleeve.
Pennel & Flipo offers several standard designs and can also accommodate your custom requirements in dimensions, coating gauge and colour.

Pennel & Flipo has developed a range of “open weave” PU fabrics, a process that encapsulates the threads and allows for the bonding of both sides of the coating. This design provides outstanding adhesion levels and is recommended where high “peel” strength is required such as in welded closures of the inflatable sections of oil booms.
We offer a wide selection of weaves to match your tensile specifications, from 225 lbs/inch - 200 daN/5cm tensile strength and higher. Coatings can be balanced or unbalanced and gauges adjusted to your specific requirements, from 20 to 45 oz./yd² - 650 to 1500 g/m². Various colours are available.
