Havyard 844 is an AHTS specially developed for supporting floating offshore installations operating in deep water and harsh environment. The vessels will be equipped with 500 tonnes AHT winches and have a bollard pull exceeding 200 tonnes. They will also have ice class for operating in Arctic waters and “Clean Design”, taking care of the environment, e.g. double skin between oil tanks and the sea. The size of the vessels provides for good deck cargo and tank capacities making the vessel very well suited for general supply services.

Slim Splice Quick System
Rope and chain
Calibrated hot dipped galvanised chain
First choice 3-strand polyester rope
Low stretch & High Strenght
An anchor-rode is the connection system between anchor and the boat and its
sturdiness during mooring is undoubtedly essential.
The critical point of the rope and chain combination is the joint, or technically speaking, the splice.
In Quick’s Slim Splice, the splice is much slimmer and more tapered, preventing the jamming which often occurs on the gypsy, during changeover from rope to chain.
Quick’s Slim Splice consists of a calibrated chain and a top quality 3-strand polyester rope, to guarantee optimum strength and life.

Coloured plastic inserts for fitting into chain links, sold in kits suitable for marking 25 cm of sized chains.

Anchorlift chaings are top quality DIN 766 and USA standar calibrated chain for use on Anchorlift anchor windlasses. For the windlass to run smoothly, the chain needs to match the gypsy. Anchorlift chains are adjusted and calibrated according to the DIN 766 and USA standard. Available in hot dipped galvanized steel and stainless steel (most sizes). The chain stowes itself in the windlass gypsy and the weight causes it to drop through the chain pipe. Chain is favoured by many cruising boaters, it is compact in size, highly abrasion - resistant and liea firmly on the bottom in most conditions.
