Reliable low noise fixed displacement hydraulic vane pumps are supplied standard on NAIAD Models 160, 174, 1018, 252, and 254. Much more efficient than gear pumps, these premium quality pumps are physically small relative to their output power. They easily mount to your main engine, marine gear, or other power source. Rotation, keyed or splined shaft, and SAE A or B flange configurations are in stock to match vessel requirements.
Pressure compensated axial piston pumps of the highest quality are supplied standard on all mid range and larger NAIAD Systems (model 302 and above). These pumps automatically vary flow to match hydraulic demand for high efficiency and minimal power consumption resulting in substantially cooler operating temperatures and long component life. Rotation, keyed or splined shaft, and SAE B or C flange configurations are in stock to match vessel requirements.
All NAIAD pumps may be provided pre-assembled to a highly efficient Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled AC electric motor in 50 or 60Hz. These power packages are supplied with a soft starter to minimize inrush current during start-up. Specify ship’s voltage, phase and frequency. |

The hydraulic helms are of the axial pistons type. The helm housing is in aluminium with bronze gears and cylinder block for greater durability and longer life. The P20, P30 and P42 models are supplied with a built-in non return and relief valve. For all the other models a non return valve shall be mounted separately. The hydraulic helms are supplied without any fitting. Complete kit of fittings are available separately, which shall be specified when placing the order. The codes and descriptions of the different kits can be found on the price list. |

A compact powerhouse that creates hydraulic pressure to lower and raise the trim tabs. It employs two solenoid valves to direct the flow of fluid to the actuators. The solenoid valves lock tightly to secure the tabs in place. Strength to lower and hold even the largest tabs in place. Lexan cover protects electrohydraulic unit from occasional wash down and translucent reservoir allows fluid check at a glance. Installs easily with sturdy mounting bracket.

No more unprotected hydraulic hoses on the stern. By running the hydraulic hoses through the cylinders we have reduced the risk of hose damage, and there are two less holes to make through the stern bulkhead. In addition, installation is much simpler. Also new is the incorporation of a trim indicator in each cylinder, and this is supplied as standard.
The cylinder kit with built-in indicator will give you full control of the boat's attitude in the water. More powerful cylinders mean that only one per trim tab is required for boats up to 40 feet.
The cables from the indicators are run to a connector box and then to the indicator instrument. There is only one cable from the connector box, which makes connection easier. |
