THE KROGEN 58' REPRESENTS A GIANT STEP FORWARD, both for this builder and for the industry as a whole. Nothing has been spared to bring her to fruition, from the intellectual rigor applied to arrive at the best possible design, to the care in the selection of the very best construction methods and materials.
First and foremost, the Krogen 58' is a home away from home, even a primary home, as the case could be. Every comfort has been provided. There's never the need to leave the nest to travel - you just take it with you, practically anywhere in the world you can find a fathom (or less) of water.
The 58' is as perfectly suited for those new to the cruising world as it is for "old salts". She's solid and sure in the open ocean, with systems chosen for their reliability and simplicity of operation. The Krogen 58' could just as capably take you from Annapolis to Athens, as from Nantucket to Newport. Whatever the destination, this capable trawler yachts is ready to go and is truly, at home on any sea.

Time to begin planning for their retirement, the owners of the Ramaela started their worldwide search for a true passage making yacht several years ago. Retirement for them was a live aboard yacht that could travel comfortably anywhere in the world. Finding that trawler was closer and easier than they imagined.
Hiring Naval Architect Robert (Bob) Johnston and employing the services of Custom Steel Boats, Inc., their plans turned into reality and the conception of Ramaela was born. As with any project that requires true craftsmanship, much planning and precise workmanship went into the development of Ramaela, resulting in a harmony of all of the elements that it safe, sturdy, comfortable, beautiful, and capable of crossing any oceans with fuel to spare.
Built in 2002 by Custom Steel Boats, the 65’ “Ramaela” has logged over 24,000 nautical miles including voyages to South America, Canada, through the Panama Canal to Costa Rica, and Alaska, but she still maintains her hailing port as Merritt, North Carolina.
The owners have found with these long voyages that they require additional crew. Subsequently, they have decided to place the 65' on the market and construct a new 85’ “Ramaela” with ample crew quarters on board.

The original model that launched the Aleutian Series has been redesigned, refreshed and restyled, with an added foot of length and a long list of new features.
New interior layouts provide more and better options for living and entertaining. A more spacious aft deck features dual wing doors and a new enclosure that protects the outside dining area from harsh weather, while opening easily to let in the sun. The flybridge overhang has also been extended further aft to provide more protection from the elements.
The 65RP also features port and starboard-side pilothouse doors, easier engine room access through a new port-side door, and a host of other performance and luxury features.
What hasn't changed is her top-performing Fexas-designed hull, making the 65RP the best for comfort and stability among blue-water cruisers.

Maintaining a focus on building brawny boats loaded with technology, amenities and style as reflected in their latest models, Pacific Asian Enterprises (PAE) is introducing a new 68-foot long-range cruising Nordhavn. With popularity of expedition-style trawlers at an all-time high, this new N68 will bridge the gap between the look and feel of the Nordhavn 62 and the current flagship of the line, the Nordhavn 76. “There are those who have great affection for the aft pilot house boat and we felt that there was room in between our 62 and 76 for such a boat,” said PAE President Dan Streech.

In 1993 Kadey-Krogen Yachts introduced the revolutionary Whaleback 48' featuring a full-beam saloon and, topside, a large central pilothouse. The Whaleback enjoyed a cult-like following particularly among long-distance voyagers, her interior accommodations being much more spacious than those of comparably-sized models and thus providing enhanced "liveability." In 2007 we launched the Krogen 55' Expedition project, combining the interior roominess and 360-degree pilothouse of the Whaleback with the greater length and pleasing lines of the Krogen 58'. Now we are pleased to introduce to you the 55' Expedition's big sister, the Krogen 64' Expedition.
From the keel up, the 64' Expedition is designed to be handled comfortably by two people, yet guests and/or crew can be accommodated with privacy for all as the 64' is available in two, three, or four-cabin versions with three or four heads.
The saloon of the 64' Expedition is located where every Kadey-Krogen saloon can be found: forward through the welded aluminum weather-tight doors off the fully covered aft deck. The portside galley remains amidships, directly adjacent to the saloon, so those who are prepping and cooking are still a part of the conversation. The galley is particularly well appointed with top-line stainless appliances including a four-burner Viking range, full-size JennAir refrigerator, a super-quiet Miele dishwasher, a microwave/convection oven, and trash compactor. As a first for Kadey-Krogen, there is a separate dining room starboard, opposite the galley.

Philosophy
A cruise has to be above all a pleasant voyage, and Antema Pacific likes sailing... But not in a hurry, with the calm and tranquillity that only a displacement Antema Pacific boat can offer you.
Yes, because sailing at fuel saving cruising speed, wrapped by silence, day and night, non stop, both with a calm sea and with a definitely rough sea, will always be a pleasure for you, assisted by two strong hydraulic stabilizers that, when you consider it suitable, simply pressing a bottom will work for the safety and comfort both for your lucky guests and for you, taking you as far as you want to go, much further that you can imagine.
Low consumption and consequently great fuel distance: between a gas oil refuelling and the following you will be able to spend many hours of calm and happy sailing without worrying about having to reach a gas oil station.
Sooner or later many ship owners will understand that the quality of life improves with calm, transforming sailing into a pleasant moment in which you can talk, taste good wine plunged in landscapes and colours that only people who sail can describe.

For years, we at PAE had fielded requests from Nordhavn enthusiasts – as well as existing Nordhavn owners – who wanted us to build something larger than our venerable 62. After studying the market and realizing that the need for a bigger Nordhavn did exist, we developed the Nordhavn 72. The simple goal of this new model was not merely to extend the length of our then flagship, but rather to create a small super yacht: true to the rugged ocean going heritage of other Nordhavns while at once stunning in her elegance, beauty, fit and finish, systems and engineering.

Following up their two latest innovative designs, the N56 Motorsailer and the N75 Expedition Yachtfisher, Pacific Asian Enterprises, Inc., has once again stretched the boundaries of their trawler line with the introduction of the Nordhavn 78, a long-range, contemporary-styled yacht.
The N78 will serve to fulfill the needs of the class of boater who wants the proven ocean-crossing capabilities of a Nordhavn combined with the sleek lines comprised by typical European-style yachts. “This design will appeal to a whole faction of clientele who tend not to prefer the traditional expedition-type look of a Nordhavn,” says PAE’s vice president, Jim Leishman. “The N78 will evoke a contemporary European feel without losing the dynamic of being a Nordhavn.”
Another draw of the new 78 is that it better segregates the crew from the owners and their guests. Like the entire Nordhavn product range (with the exception of the N120), the N78 was intended to be operated without a captain. However, Leishman has designed engine room access in the transom so that employed crew can enter the area without impacting company on board.
The new N78 will come equipped with twin engines, have ocean-crossing capabilities with a range of 3,000+ miles and superior fuel efficiency. The interior will feature an updated, modern design aesthetic that includes sumptuous owners’ accommodations and two superb guest rooms all with ensuite heads; crew quarters and off-watch quarters.

With popularity of the “northwest trawler”-style boat on the rise, PAE set out to create a new, big modern passagemaker that fused this salty look with the advanced systems of the latest Nordhavns. The result was the Nordhavn 76: developed for those yachtsmen who want an aft pilot house boat which carries its shore boats on the foredeck. Like our venerable Nordhavn 62, the pilothouse of the N76 is set aft, carries its crane forward and can launch its shore boats off either the port or starboard side. Based on the hull form and specifications of the N72, the simple goal of this new model was to create a small superyacht which was true to the rugged ocean going heritage of other Nordhavns while at the same time stunning in her elegance, fit and finish, systems and engineering.
