Combining extreme precision and creativity Marco Casali, the architect responsible for the design of the new Itama craft, the Itama Engineering Department and the Ferretti S.p.A. AYT (Advanced Yacht Technology) division achieved the final look of the new 50-footer, craft that will fit perfectly between the Forty and the FiftyFive. Like the other boats in the new Itama line, the overall aim has been to develop certain aspects, while maintaining the immaculate harmony that distinguishes all the craft in the Itama fleet.
The result is a modern 50-footer with a distinctively sporting character ( it reach speeds of up to 36 knots thanks to its twin MAN 800 mhp engines), hosting up to 8 people. The craft's exterior, transferring again Itama "family feeling", includes a higher bow and a lower stern that is smoothly, yet dynamically curved with all the tension of a bow about to shoot an arrow. A sportsmanship boosted up by the innovative construction process of this boat: in fact the new Fifty will take advantage of a lamination system for the infusion of the glass fibre components, which guarantees an improved weight-performance ratio.
The craft also boasts a roomy cockpit and a large aft deck, specifically designed to exploit daytime liveability to the full and guaranteing a very special, no-filter relationship with the sea in the classic tradition of the open yacht.

On this occasion, the Maxi Dolphin yard called upon Roberto Starkel to design the hull shape – 15.42 metres long with a beam of 4.26 metres with an ample all-teak boarded deck.
Symmetrically to the stern of the vast prow deck area, there is a large cockpit with cushions for twelve passengers. The slightly separated command area is equipped with a sophisticated instrumentation. The very end of the stern has a teak swim platform, with ladder and shower, for easy bathing entry and exit.
The MD 51’ Power is a “day cruiser” suitable for day-outings at sea with family and friends or for short cruises of a day or two. Below deck we find a large owner’s cabin with private bathroom with shower; the side of a large dinette, with galley, saloon and guest bathroom. The MD 51’ Power is built employing the Sprint system using compound materials (Glass–Carbon) and epoxy resins under a vacuum, cured at 84°.
The MD 51’ Power boasts two Volvo Penta “IPS 600” engines delivering 420 Hp/each, The brand-new Volvo Penta Joystick system is also onboard – complete control in all directions.

“ The 80 footer is Magnum’s biggest project to date…The styling is dramatic The boat has a beam of almost 20’ and weighed in at over 100,000 lbs …Having been on numerous yachts, sports boats, raceboats, etc, it takes a lot to impress me, but quite simply the 80’ Magnum is one of the top performance boats I have ever been on! I found the 80 footer had no bow lift while coming on plane,…in 45 seconds it was doing 45 mph, and we topped out at 53 mph. With lighter load the factory had seen 56 mph.
The boat handled like a dream, as if it were an 18’ ski boat. At any speed the 80 tracked straight and true and carved crisply through turns with ease. The Arneson drives also provided exceptional maneuverability at slow speeds and around docks. Even with 3600hp screaming under you…the cockpit was quite enough to carry a normal conversation. The cockpit would easily seat 20 or 30 and an additional 6 or 8 could lay out on the sun pad.

The new Magnum 100' model, presented by Magnum Marine, will be Magnum's largest yacht and is expected to be delivered by 2012.
The styling was designed by the talented young, Italian designer, Alberto Mancini, and offers a completely new concept of outdoor cockpit livability. The Magnum 100' has different seating, dining and viewing areas, with an expandable top providing various and movable shaded areas.
Technologically designed by Magnum to be eco friendly , Magnum emphasizes weight saving through the use of stronger and lighter materials. The vessel is built in advanced composite foams and carbon fiber, allowing critical HP to weight ratios to be met with lower power, thus saving more than 20% in weight compared to similar models; also making the vessel structure more rigid and more efficient.
For less drag and therefore improved fuel consumption, Magnum installs surface drives which not only reduce consumption but also increase top speed.
For slow speed operation, the new Magnum will have an electric "harbor" drive: an electric wing engine for slow speed operation, which runs virtually silent and smoke free. No noise and no more exhaust fumes.
The Magnum designed Interior LED and fluorescent lighting will increase efficiency and decrease interior heat load.
Interiors will be custom designed for her owner and include four double and very large staterooms, heads, reception and salon areas and of course comfortable crew cabins.
All has been designed to be the most environmentally friendly, the most comfortable, the most seaworthy and fast new yacht in the world.
