The Atlantis family extends to include the Atlantis 35 sport cruiser boat, the entry-level model of the range. Designed by the American architect Michael Peters, already the designer of the Atlantis 39, a good deal of her strong personality has been inherited from her larger sister.
The layout of the cockpit is both comfortable and functional and her fittings leave nothing to envy of larger vessels. This is in fact the challenge launched by Atlantis 35: elegance and liveability are not a question of size.
Nothing has been compromised inside either. Most models of this size offer owners a transformable dinette, and in more successful designs,a separate cabin with a diagonally positioned bed along a wall.
Its distinguishing feature is the sweeping windscreen that envelops the boat right back to the stern bulwarks, giving it an elegant profile, and perfect visibility. TheAtlantis 35 is easy and exciting to handle, with a sporty temperament, and powe r f u l , exuberant performance. The version with two 350 Hp engines has a top speed of 40 knots.
The cockpit and interior are comfortable and roomy, guaranteeing
excellent comfort, privacy and refined, linear styling. For example,
the master stateroom is in the prow, and the double bed is positioned
centrally, unique on a boat of this size.
The cockpit roof is a technological gem: like the hood on a sports car, it
is integrated completely into the fibreglass superstructure and it opens
out like a fan, automatically, in just20 seconds. |
