Aviva – As Sharp as a Knife
A 68m yacht, offering the expansiveness, elegance and comfort of a much larger yacht at sea? Elegantly real: MY "Aviva". Her secret? The bow: vertical and sharp like a knife as it rises up out of the water. This causes, apart from a lot of attention, an extremely long waterline pared with outstanding sailing performance and a huge amount of extra space. The interior décor matches the extraordinary: collection of art pieces, variety, textures and colours. Despite or because of its extravagant design, Aviva has proven to be a widely acclaimed success; a flood of inquiries proves this, along with the nomination for “World Superyacht Awards 2008” in Venice.

Within DAMEN, the new construction, refit and repair of mega yachts is prominently carried out by Amels, established in 1918 as a family-owned shipyard specialising mainly in the construction of commercial vessels. Amels joined DAMEN in 1991. Its dockyard facilities are located in Vlissingen.
The development of a mega yacht demands close-knit cooperation with world-renowned yacht and interior designers. Within this concerted activity, in-house naval architecture and engineering ensure an efficient and flexible production process, resulting in a technically reliable, truly custom-built pedigree yacht with immaculate finishing.
A semi-custom series ranging between 50 and 70 metres, introduced in 2005, follows the same basic philosophy that has worked so successfully for other members of the Damen Shipyards Group. The essence of this philosophy is to build each vessel on a proven platform that can be customised by the client, substantially reducing costs and shortening delivery time. The first 52-metre semi-custom yacht is to be delivered in early 2007.

Eminence – Under the Sign of the Whale
"Eminence" is one of the newest and so far largest successes under the name of Abeking & Rasmussen: spreading from 78,40 m in length and 12,40 m in beam, this yacht offers extensive interior space. It still appears slender due to its outstanding exterior design, embodying style and elegance from every perspective. Down to the last detail, the mast is shaped like the tailfin of a whale: a masterpiece of craftsmanship and planning.
The interior corresponds to its immense offer of space: extensive, generous and remarkable - complying with the guests’ wishes just like the great travelling comfort does. Excellent behaviour at sea along with an efficient stabilising system provides for extremely pleasant cruising and highest comfort even whilst at anchor, guaranteeing the optimum yachting experience.

The spectacular design is without doubt one of the most remarkable assets of Oceanco's Alfa Nero. A huge proportion of the yacht's length is devoted to a long, lowstern that dominates her sleek appearance. Effortless access to the sea, a beach club, swimming pool and a sunbathing deck provide the Owner and guests with an enormous amount of space for leisure and sports activities.
The 7 x 3.5m (23 x 11.5ft) swimmimg pool is one of the largest yet built on a superyacht and is a superb feat of innovation by Oceanco's engineers. Hydraulic rams elevate the pool floor to deck level, transforming this section of the aft deck into a dance floor, a vast entertaining area or even a helipad.

Half of its beauty is in how well it works
Inspired by the success of our 130' and 152' motor yacht projects, Northern Marine has teamed with respected designer Jonathan Quinn Barnett to create a brand-new vessel of singular luxury and style.
It's crisp, contemporary exterior contours command immediate attention, and offer an unmistakable clue to the elegance within. The generous 30' 9" beam allows a superb balance of interior spaces and on-deck areas to serve a variety of cruising lifestyle preferences, from active water sports to gracious entertaining.
Five exquisitely appointed staterooms include a main-deck master suite that spans the full beam for an extra measure of spacious comfort. Two VIP suites with king-sized berths and two queen-berth guest suites accommodate family and friends in the owner's party, and make the 151 equally attractive for charter service. Social areas include tables for ten in the main deck dining room and on the sheltered aft deck at pilothouse level, plus al fresco lounge areas on the flybridge and California deck, and in the richly-appointed skylounge, where a full bar provides convenient refreshment service. A second bar, at flybridge level, includes an electric grill beneath a hardtop that also shelters a large spa tub.
Twin Caterpillar or MTU diesels deliver cruise speeds up to 20 knots; with a range up to 4,000 nautical miles, the Northern Marine 151 can bring world-class luxury to even the most remote destinations.
