Safety – Space – Range – Solidity
The Kéréon 77' designed by Galileo Yacht perfectly illustrates the concept of the range, which also features 57' and 47' models. Its specification stipulated maximum fuel consumption of 1.2 l per nautical mile. The bow bulbs and the slick styling of each catamaran hull have achieved this target, giving the Kéréon 77' a range of 4,000 nautical miles at 10 knots. Designed for long-range, ocean-going navigation in all latitudes, the Kéréon has all the equipment required to ensure total autonomy and a level of comfort commensurate with a 100' yacht. All the benefits of a catamaran hull are displayed on the Kéréon, which provides more than 250 m2 living space on a craft just 77' long.
The first Kéréon 77' will be delivered in late 2006 to its European owner. The Kéréon 77' by Galileo Yacht beats a yacht of equal size for spaciousness, stability, comfort, speed and eco-friendliness – and has rolled back the boundaries of the fast-trawler concept.

Experience new sensations
For those who have been hesitating between a racing dinghy and a catamaran, Ex Aqua brings an exciting alternative: the Astus 14.1 trimaran.
The Astus 14.1 combines the ease of handling and steering of a monohull with the speed of a catamaran. The flared hull and large cockpit provide a dry and comfortable sitting position whilst the floats provide reassuring stability.
Fast, stable and comfortable
Each float, with 80 litres of buoyancy, provides the same righting moment as an adult on a trapeze. This allows the boat to carry more sail on a narrow planing hull and achieve planing speeds more quickly.
Beginners will enjoy a boat capable of picking up speed in light wind whilst being stable and easy to control. The dry and comfortable sitting position allows for long sailing treks.
Experienced sailors will enjoy planing sensations similar to a skiff but with a much shorter learning curve, thanks to the Astus 14.1's ease of use and furling gennaker. |

The Ultimate Dayboat
The Astus 16.1 trimaran was born from the desire to create a family-friendly dayboat offering maximum pleasure with minimum hassle. Its simplicity makes it accessible to novice sailors whilst its high sail area over weight ratio (17.2m² for 240kg) will get even the most experienced sailors excited. The multihull design enables the Astus 16.1 to achieve greater speeds than a monohull effortlessly, increasing the range of places you can reach within a day. Thanks to its simplicity and versatility you will want to take it to your favourite sailing spots all year long.
Watch the Astus 16.1 in action
Simplicity
If you are new to sailing and looking for a boat easy to handle, look no further. The Astus 16.1 has foils built in each float, making a centreboard redundant. Hence you won't need to worry about hitting the bottom: the Astus 16.1's shallow draught (0.25m) will enable you to wander through shallow creeks in total peace of mind.
Reducing sail is easy with the furling jib and boomless mainsail, whilst the optional furling gennaker will take you to exciting speeds without the fuss. The mast can be stepped up and the boat rigged in less than 30 minutes by a single person.
Versatility
The Astus 16.1's floats are mounted on telescopic arms and can be extended or folded within seconds on the water as well as on shore. Thanks to this ingenious design the boat can be launched from narrow slip ways and moored in monohull marina berths, whilst offering full stability on the water with the floats extended.
The large cockpit, with no centreboard well, offers ample accommodation for five people and extra room is provided on the large trampolines. The cabin keeps your belongings dry and safe and can offer refuge to your children should they get cold.
At 240kg (350kg with the trailer), the Astus 16.1 is very light for a boat of its size and can be towed even by a small car.
Safety
If you wish to initiate your children to the fun of sailing, the last thing you want is to scare them away. The Astus 16.1's two floats of 330 litres each give it unique stability. In a stable boat that doesn't heel your young children will be much more confident and free to enjoy the fun, whilst the boomless mainsail means no sore heads after tacking and gybing!
Furthermore, the hull and floats include foam buoyancy, further adding to the boat buoyancy. |

High Performance
The multihull design offers multiple benefits: the floats bring reassuring stability, and as ballast is not needed the boat is very light for its size.

This power enables the Astus 20.1 to reach high speeds effortlessly. (record to date: 18 knots!) Performance can be further increased with the Pentex sails option and a choice of asymmetric spinnaker or furling gennaker.

High-speed sailing in one designs is a rare and much longed for combination. The thought of going upwind at 10 knots or bearing off on one pontoon and reaching 15 knots in only 10 knots of wind is exhilarating to any serious sailor. For sailors with experience in monohulls the step to the SeaCart 30 is a small one except for the dramatic increase in speed. The basic set-up of mainsail, selftacking jib and furling gennaker make boathandling simple and effective.
Built for fast races on open seas or lakes this 930 kg racehorse is still fit for a weekend cruise. The width is on the low side for a multihull to encourage tacking and make sailing tactically interesting.
