With fuel prices soaring Sonics design team has come up with an alternative. The new 34 Sonic FE powered with outboards.
This latest boat from Sonic will still be able to run fast, yet burn less fuel. (73 to 75 MPH with Mercury 2X 300) Her patented step hull also ads to fuel efficiency of this new Sonic.
The new 34 Sonic also offers other advantages like more room in the cockpit. There will be much more seating sun beds and wet bar and grill available as options.
Outboards are now more and more powerful and fuel efficient. Also being able to raise the engines now offers the option of keeping the boat in the water.
Great for that weekend trip as there is room in the cabin with enclosed head and shower galley and queen bed.

As with all Trader Generation II models, the Trader 42 has been designed in collaboration with leading naval architect Tony Castro and is available with three deck options; a standard raised aft-deck, a Sport Deck, and full flybridge. Each model variant offers sleek exterior styling, ‘home from home’ interior and state-of-the-art systems. Customers can also select from two internal layouts, giving them the choice of two or three cabins, which is just one of the 75 configurations available.
The Trader 42 Sport Deck boasts a GRP hardtop with fabric sunroof over the aft-deck. This feature creates an exceptionally versatile exterior living area and will particularly appeal to those looking for extra protection from the sun.

Brand new lighting technology has allowed us to introduce the Sea Vision SV19 model. This utilizes a 50 watt xenon lamp and 50 watt ballast. This is the first of its kind to incorporate the ballast and ignitor built directly into the thru-hull casing. It is the brightest 12 volt DC light available. Can be installed on small to mid size boats including sportfishers and cruisers.
