The new S 280 features stunning good looks combined with exceptional handling and performance. Its long list of standard features includes rich teak accents, a fiberglass hardtop with a white powder coated aluminum frame, an overhead electronics box, an overhead storage bag, integral overhead interior lighting, three spreader lights, a Clarion AM/FM/CD stereo, complete with an MP3/Ipod jack, remote and four stereo speakers. The helm features a split leaning post with flip up helm and companion bolsters and fixed arm rests for comfortable operation from a seated or standing position. For one of the most comfortable rides on the boat, deploy the folding aft stern seat, sit back and hold on. Strategically-placed cushions provide lumbar support while you're seated and function as essential coaming pads when the seat is not in use and folded flush. The console affords lockable storage and conceals a head compartment with holding tank, pump out and macerator.
Other creature comforts include an Isotherm stainless steel drawer refrigerator and a molded-in 140-quart combination cooler/cushioned stern bench to keep your food and beverages cool and easily accessible. Twin 29-gallon insulated in-deck lockers with pump out serve to stow your catch or function as spacious storage compartments to keep the deck clear of gear.
The molded-in split-bow seating area of the S 280 Sport affords additional seating for relaxing or entertaining and provides lockable rod storage, complete with padded reel protectors. The large raised foredeck area features an aggressive non-skid surface for more secure footing while you are boarding or cast netting from the bow.

Frauscher presents an exceptional special edition of the 686 Lido
The passion to build unique boats and the ambition to realise innovative concepts are a strong motivation for the brand Frauscher to initiate new solutions, without forgetting about tradition, friendship and origin. To live up to these ideas, the aim to build a notable special edition was born.
Many of the above values and a more than 25yearlong friendship tie the families Frauscher and Feltrinelli together. Over the years an intensive collaboration and trust developed, allowing the family Feltrinelli to honour the request of the Frauscher shipyard to dedicate this special project to the great racer Dino Feltrinelli - limited to 9 unique creations with boat names that were of dear value to Dino and with a propulsion solution selected by Feltrinelli, that would have sure made him proud.
In addition Frauscher and longstanding partner arge.ateliers invited Annette Hinterwirth - a designer of the same origin and passion - to come on board and join forces to create an exceptional Lido - the 686 Lido "Editione Dino Feltrinelli".

At the time Engelbert Frauscher was ready to open his first yard, the United States already celebrated the heydays of boat racing. During the winter of 1921-22 the rules governing the Gold Cup Races were changed dramatically by the American Power Boat Association. The changes limited engine size, length and configuration of hulls. The rules committee said that they wished to encourage “Gentlemen’s Runabouts” that could be used for family recreation as well as racing.
Racing for pleasure, no rules needed, just style and honour. From 1922-28 numerous wonderful boats were created that now inspired us to take the essence and vision of the good old days and recreate the spirit in the 21st century – the outcome: Frauscher 717 GT a truly fantastic Gentlemen’s racer.
The well tested sub-construction was developed carefully along the lines of the Gentlemen’s racers that so much inspired us to realise this unique watercraft. The central motorization, the classic shaft propulsion together with the exceptional hull design allows for perfect manoeuvring at all times.
