Listening to the demands of the more demanding nautical market and motivated by the success of the two smaller models Alaska 42 and 45, the team have manufactured another boat in the ALASKA family.
Alaska 38 represents the model of a vessel which in herself incorporates much more than already standardized safe navigation and a cosy interior.
With her excellent ergonomic solutions inside the unusually large dimensions (width of 4.25 m) she exceeds the concept of a small daily boat and enables a carefree stay even during longer cruises. The saloon and the kitchen of this model too, thank to her width fist of all, are particularly spacious, and together with the stern they create one unique space, which is ideal for both daily and night residence on the boat. Two cabins, the owner's and the guest cabin, with two beds and bathroom with a separate shower, are by their dimensions identical to the Alaska 42, which additionally speaks in favour of spaciousness of this model. She is appropriate for five, but ideal for four people, and enables comfortable socializing and experience of cruising.
Referring to her technical equipment, we can again note the high standard which witnesses the philosophy of all the boats from the ALASKA family. With her two Cumminis/Yanmar engines of 315/330 HP, she can reach the speed of 21 noughts, and her water and fuel tanks, bigger than the usual ones for this class of vessels, enable carefree and long cruises. With all her maritime characteristics, the Alaska 38 represents a faithful follower of the tradition of the safe and stable ALASKA boats. |

The Alden Yachts 56/58 Motor Yacht sports a 15-foot, 8-inch beam with running strakes and wide chines that lift her quickly up on plane. EMOZIONE 55 – TWO CABINS
The two-cabin version of Emozione 55 is ideal for living the on-board Dolce Vita. Return to the philosophy of American picnic boats, the luxury of the Great Gatsby and the spirit of moonlit parties. The expansive saloon area is designed to accommodate large groups for conversation, gaming and cocktails.
The two-cabin Emozione 55 gives greatest emphasis to the day area. Indeed, the kitchen is below deck to starboard, while all space on deck is used for the vast saloon area that provides guests with two facing sofas and with a large table close to the port sofa. The prow and starboard cabins are below deck, each with its own bathroom, and are identical to those in the three-cabin version.
EMOZIONE 55 – THREE CABINS
The Emozione 55 with three cabins is ideal for cruising in style. It provides ample space for the entire family or three couples of friends. The saloon area becomes the boat’s centre for all essential cruise activities, from navigation to meals and relaxation, with space for everyone to stay together.
In the three-cabin version all space below deck is used as the night area: the main cabin has its own bathroom while the two guest cabins share the second bathroom. The day area is all on deck, with the kitchen in the saloon area to starboard, enabling faster service both on deck and in the cockpit, and with a large C-shaped sofa and table on the port side. |

Global Yacht Builders Teams Up With Hunt on Dramatic New 68-Foot Express Motoryacht
Global Yacht Builders of Kaoshiung, Taiwan has completed construction of the first in their new line of high-performance Express Cruisers designed by C. Raymond Hunt Associates. The first GLOBALarrow 68 Express received high marks at its debut at the Miami International Boat Show in February 2008.
The GLOBALarrow is built on the latest iteration from Hunt of their famous high-deadrise deep-V hull form. Too many other builders start with their accommodations plans and then compromise the hull form to enclose them; the GLOBALarrow originated with the hull and then optimized the layout within it, in order to achieve outstanding performance at sea. As a consequence, the GLOBALarrow delivers a notably quicker, smoother and drier ride. Fitted with prop tunnels for cruising draft, this very capable hull runs well above 30 knots with standard power and will operate efficiently and with great comfort, even under conditions that deter other motoryachts of similar size. |
