With 6.55 meters and a beam over 2.5 meters the Amber 6.50 CB is capable of running on engines up to 200 HP reaching speeds of 42 knots. Manufactured in G.R.P. and with a hull of 1.350 Kg it is one of the bigger and safer outboards currently in the market.
The boat includes a comfortable bow cabin, a smart and modern pilot area, a wide cockpit and an aft located sofa.
Because of the strong demand on this unit Altair Yates has already confirmed that new outboards with a longer length will shortly be offered.

Built for U.S. Naval facilities throughout the country as harbor security boats, the walk-through CABIN SERIES has been adapted to meet the demanding needs of government and commercial entities worldwide. The 5086 aluminum self-bailing hulls and all-welded houses are rugged and designed to provide low-maintenance operation.
CABIN models can be constructed with either a walk-through or cuddy design to accommodate a crew of 4 to 6 people. Each includes sliding glass windows, aft bulkhead with door, tempered glass throughout, pedestal and or box cushion seating, hand railings inside and out, roof insulation, and red/white lighting. The pilot's console has ample space for controls and electronics, and the layout can be customized.
This boat can be outfitted with either twin or single engines, a 5 KW water-cooled generator, HVAC, heating, a portable head, lifting-eyes floodlights, search lights, blue police lights, tow posts, engine/rope guards, and a variety of other options.

If there is no electrical power on board you can always rely on the little QL manual bilge pump. It pumps 0.9 litre per stroke which equals 90 litres per minute at 100 strokes per minute. It can be installed behind a bulkhead or below deck to take up the least possible room. The pump handle is removable, only being fitted to work the pump, which saves more space.The QL manual bilge pump comes in two versions to suit different installations: For installation through the deck, i.e. vertical installation, or for installation behind a bulkhead - i.e. horizontal.
