Cruisair Modular Tempering Units (model MTC) are designed to provide installation flexibility, maximum performance and reliability, and easy access for maintenance and repair. MTC units are available with many different compressors to suit available power systems. MTC units have extremely large heat exchangers that make it possible to achieve loop water temperatures of 40°F (4.4°C) in cooling, and 120°F (49°C) in heating. This also allows for effective reverse cycle heating in seawater temperatures as low as 38°F (3.5°C), eliminating the need for separate fossil fuel or electric water heaters in most applications.
*All units have built-in protection devices, including: high and low pressure switches, loop water flow switch, loop water strainer, hot gas bypass valve, and loop water freeze sensor.
*A wire harness with polarized plug is included for easy electrical connections.
*Seawater manifolds are removable to allow cleaning of condenser tubing. Hot gas bypass valves maintain heating performance in cold seawater temperatures, and help prevent water freezing in the heat exchanger.
*Modulating flow control maintains the designed loop water flow rate.
*MTCs are built with high-efficiency scroll compressor.
*Custom frame and water manifold configuration, for multiple units, is also available.

The compact TWC is a high performance, cost effective tempering unit that provides all the advantages of a chilled water system while maintaining the performance levels associated with the Cruisair name. The reverse cycle TWC chiller cools and heats, and is currently available in 24,000 BTU/Hr (2-ton) and 36,000 BTU/Hr (3-ton) sizes. Multiple units can be installed to achieve the required total capacity. Two different chiller control systems are available. The standard control is our proven DDC - Digital Diagnostic Control that provides simple, single-stage operation. For the customer who wants full system control with multi-unit staging and LCD readout of chiller status, the TWLC – Tempered Water Logic Control is available. Depending on the configuration, additional cables, switches, sensors, or a display may be required
*All TWC chillers are charged with R-410A, which is the preferred, environmentally-friendly refrigerant used in modern high efficiency air conditioners.
*The brazed plate-coil evaporator and coaxial cupronickel seawater condenser allow for superior cooling and heating performance.
*Each unit includes a chilled water flow switch, high and low refrigerant pressure switches, and inlet and outlet CW temperature sensors.
*Large heat exchangers deliver superior performance in both cooling and heating.
*The electrical box is mounted on the top of the chiller and can be remotely mounted up to 6ft (1.8m) away.
*TWCs are built with high-efficiency rotary or scroll compressor.
*Refrigerant: R410A

The Cuddy dc system is designed to provide cooling on small boats without an onboard genset. An extremely compact 3,500 BTU/hr (1025W) air conditioner with a dedicated power module will use power from 12V batteries to make your cabin a refuge from the heat and sun. The Cuddy dc unit uses globally accepted R417a non-HCFC refrigerant, and can be used with a 12VDC system.
Dometic recommends a separate set of batteries for the Cuddy dc air conditioning system. Deep cycle AGM or Gel Cell batteries are best for this application. The dedicated power module (DPM) is designed for the air conditioner, seawater pump and control only, and should not be used for other AC devices.
*Approximate current draw: 29 amps at 12VDC
*Plug and play installation with simple 12V connections
*C system ready – simple 12VDC connections
*Copper tube/aluminum fin evaporator coils are designed for hot/humid marine environment
*Washable air filter included. Micro-particle filters available
*Compact – about the size of a battery box
*Cuddy DC can not be upgraded to digital

E-FD remote evaporators are draw-through, ductable, DX air handlers incorporating variable-speed blowers and integral water-displacing condensate pans. Each unit is pre-charged, test run in all operating modes, and leak checked prior to shipping. E-FD units are ductable and designed to be installed in low cabin areas (under berths, lockers, etc.) and ducted to high supply air grilles.
These units have rotatable blowers providing flexibility to fit specific space requirements and allowing for proper duct work installations. Transition boxes may be used to supply air to more than one area from a single unit.

Dash Air delivers high-velocity cold air (or HOT!) on the bridge or deck. This self-contained package stands just eight inches high and is easily mounted in confined spaces like flybridge dashboards and consoles. That's simply cool.
Also available is a 16,000 BTU cooling/heating unit connected to a remote condensing unit below decks. A third configuration is designed for boats equipped with a circulated water system.
All three Dash Air systems are reverse-cycle, blowing warm air on chilly mornings, thereby extending your cruising season.
All units are designed for easy, professional installation on both new boats and for dealers to retrofit onto older vessels.
At Dometic, we care about the coolness factor. Check out Dash Air.... And stay cool.

RA60C: Technicold Chilled Water Air Conditioner
TECHNICOLD® represents the state of the art in on-board environmental climate control. TECHNICOLD®’s line of chilled water air conditioning systems has proven its mettle time and again. Incorporating self-contained water chillers, TECHNICOLD® AC systems are constructed with 316L stainless steel and other corrosion resistant materials for optimal performance and stability.
Because on-board space is always at a premium, TECHNICOLD® AC systems are built to fit the smallest footprint possible while retaining a robust build. Designed for versatility, TECHNICOLD® air conditioning systems can be placed in individual cabins or conveniently racked in a central location.
Tempered water is circulated through the vessel via a closed loop circuit. Each area of the vessel is governed by an individual zone control valve and an air handler which are thermostatically controlled to provide the desired temperature. Each modular chiller is staged to cycle on or off as the cooling loads vary, maintaining a pre-set water temperature for maximum comfort and efficiency.
TECHNICOLD® climate control systems can even facilitate electric resistant or oil fired heat. For the state of the art in marine air conditioning, the choice is clear: Technicold
