Selden aluminium spinnaker poles give you fast and safe spinnaker handling. All the fittings have well-rounded edges to prevent personal injury and damage to equipment. The extrusions are lightweight and very durable, and are fitted with pole savers to shield the pole against damage from forestay and shrouds.

We have developed our own computer controlled manufacturing method in which prepreg (pre-impregnated) tows are wound onto a mandrel (cylinder) prior to oven curing. This method enables us to exercise full control over every stage of the manufacturing process and guarantee products of consistently high quality. One of the big advantages of this Selden production method is that it enables us to achieve sufficient durability in the areas subject to the greatest loads and wear.

Telescopic pole, can be extended to 150% of normal spinnaker pole length (SPL), a must when poling out a large genoa or a gennaker. It can be telescoped down for easier stowage.

Marström spars are used all over the world ranging from the Europe dinghy to the latest Americas Cup designs. We make all spars in a female mould using carbon prepreg. The spars are autoclaved in 125 degrees and at 6 bars pressure.
We produced our first carbon spar in 1985. Since then more than 4500 spars have left our factory. Our engineers and salesmen will guide the customer right through the project. We have a deep knowledge in load calculations as well as in designing custom fittings.
Our latest projects includes the mast for the Italian AC Yacht +39. Estrella Damm and Safran are two IMOCA projects that use Marstrom Spars for the Vendee Globe and the Barcelona World Race. |

The past 15 years have seen a major shift in spar construction from aluminium to composites. The benefits of strength, reduced weight, durability and precision engineering offered by composite construction are now well established.

Hall carbon-fiber poles are manufactured using the same aerospace-quality, seamless construction process as our extraordinary masts and booms. Each pole is custom molded on a male mandrel then autoclave-cured to eliminate voids. Hall uses unidirectional, pre-preg carbon fiber for the pole's structure, resulting in maximum strength at minimum weight.
Hall Spars & Rigging spinnaker poles are made for intense sailing. Hall poles save weight on deck, are easier to handle (half the weight of aluminum), and are incredibly tough. Kevlar in key areas protects the carbon from chafe. |

Established in 2004, our One Design business is dedicated to supplying production rigs, from high performance dinghies up to 60 foot performance cruisers. We apply the lessons learned at the grand prix end of the spectrum to create superb high performing consistent production rigs. Our tools are scientific analysis, sound knowledge and a passion for high performance yachting.
Southern Spars One Design is committed to producing high performance carbon rigs with an emphasis on value for money - spending money where it counts. The experience from 15 years of building the most successful custom carbon rigs in the world is being used in the manufacture and design of production One Design rigs. |

For all Parasail(or)s, spinnakers, gennakers, and blisters
Two-stage control system
The Easysnuffer features a two-stage control system which, as you pull the line first tightens the upper part of the sock while leaving the lower part straight. This avoids the sail getting stuck in the sock and being pulled up with it.
Single control line
Unlike many other recovery socks with two separate lines, the Easysnuffer is controlled by a single line. Inside, the Easysnuffer is regulated by two control lines, one on each side, each encased in channels sewn onto the sock. With this design, the control lines simply cannot tangle with the sail.
Furthermore, the channels are made of white cloth which contrasts nicely with the grey fabric of the sock and therefore is an optical guide helping you judge whether the sock is twisted or not.
Oval super light funnel
Hoisting and lowering the sail is significantly facilitated by the Easysnuffer's super light funnel. Thanks to its oval shape the wind can easily push the funnel up as it fills the sail. In fact, hoisting becomes somewhat paradoxical as you typically control the upward movement of the funnel by letting go the line up step by step rather than pulling the line down.
Red and green marked shackles for safe storing
Once finished lowering it is a good idea to fix the clews into the shackles that are attached to the Easysnuffer's funnel - each one marked with a red or green strap, respectively. This minimises the risk of shackling in the wrong sheet next time you hoist the sail.
The red and green straps guide inexperienced crew members (in potentially hectic situations) to attach the clews into the correct shackles |
