The Victorinox RescueTool was developed and perfected in cooperation with emergency medical and rescue services in a five-year project.
The key functions of this new pocket tool can be opened in seconds and are ready for use immediately.
All parts have been subject to stringent tests; particularly the new window breaker and disc saw tools. The rounded belt cutter can be used to cut through seatbelts safely. The tool includes the most important functions for freeing someone trapped in a car.
All tools that have to be available quickly can be opened wearing gloves and are suitable for both right-handed and left-handed users.
The one-handed blade and strong screwdriver (crate opener) are fixed in position when open thanks to the liner lock mechanism.
Even the look of the RescueTool, with its luminescent yellow grip shells, is something special.
It is also supplied with a bright red/yellow nylon case and a wide belt loop that fits a range of special-purpose belts.
As the window breaker and disc saw tools are subject to particular wear and tear when used, they are easy to replace.
RescueTool comprises following parts and functions: One-handed blade, Phillips screwdriver, window breaker, strong 6mm screwdriver - with cap lifter and wire stripper, punch and reamer, belt cutter, key ring, tweezers, toothpick, disc saw, luminescent grip shells, nylon cord and nylon case.

The CyberTool is here - especially developed for our times when computers and electronics rule the day. Thanks to 13 different screwdrivers, cleverly housed in the smallest space, the Tool is in a class of its own servicing the product fields of electronics, household appliances, hobbies and toys. The handy bit drive and bit holder can be opened quickly in the same uncomplicated way as any other tool. And another novelty: the new transparent handle gives the CyberTool extra style.

The Skipper model is provided additionally with practical pliers with wire cutter and squeezer. The roughened, ergonomic casing gives the knife an extremely good grip, which is a considerable advantage when used on the water. Skipper and Mariner are 2 cm longer than conventional "Swiss Army knives" (91 mm) yet they can be considered lightweight with approx. 150 grams and therefore also easy to carry in the convenient belt case. The blades of the Victorinox knives are made from top quality stainless steel.

VICTORINOX has developed two special knives for seamen: Skipper and Helmsman. Their exceptional quality has proved invaluable in many situations when sailing and boating. The integrated shackle opener, for example, permits simple opening of large and small shackles. The tips act as marline spikes and can also be used as an emergency awl. The cylindrical grinding of the large, lockable blade makes it possible to sever even thick ropes. Other important tools for use on board are: Phillips and other screwdrivers, can opener, bottle opener, prick-pierce bodkin, and wire insulation stripper.

This model has the same shaped handle and blade as the 8 cm 'ENCAN'. Only this time the handle is made from anodised aluminium available in a variety of different colours. The same system of a press stud, as used in the PROFIL, enables one to carry this knife on a belt without the use of a holster. A useful little tool and used by many in the saling world.

The Profil has an openwork anodised aluminium handle available in a variety of colours. This knife, with its complex design, has the same locking system as the 'ENCAN'.
The knife has a very clever male press stud fixed to its handle, allowing the knife to be clipped directly onto you belt without the need of a holster. A female stud (to fix onto you belt) is provided with your order. |

The very first model was designed and built at sea and even though the tools used today are a little different, the handles are still handcrafted.
The blade is locked open with an internal lock system (liner-lock). The knife exists in 2 sizes; 10 & 12 cms to satisfy every hand.

This knife is named after the place where it was designed and finally built. It is a simple and easy knife to use, the blade forged from a Swedish steel '12c27' is extremely sharp and its wooden handle has a pleasing shape.
This knife is very light due to the simple and clever locking system we have invented. A simple straight spring lock keeps the blade in the open position and a simple pressure of you thumb releases the blade back into the closed position.
You can order seperately, a very nice leather holster to accompany your knife.

| Makes a tool a pleaure to use, one way to describe this knife..... it is a very tough and useful sailors knife. Its blade is fixed in the middle and can rotate so only half of it is exposed, one side has a strong blade and the other is a tool, used to repair fishing nets, unshackling etc... no other tool is needed. It has a very safe blade and is easy to work with. It comes with a magnificent leather holster. |
