The Auto-Release cleat provides the neatest and best solution to the problem of how to lock-down a rudder blade yet allow it to flip-up if it hits the bottom or a solid obstacle in the water. The cleat holds ropes securely yet will release them immediately when the cleat is overloaded. Once tripped, it can be easily reset in seconds by just pushing the cleat back down into its base.

PUSH BUTTON MOORING LINE RELEASE
Imagine being able to release your boat's mooring lines at the press of a button. No more turning your guests into crew. It provides complete control at the push of a button. The AutoCleat will release any line configuration - loop, figure 8 or slip knot.
CLEAR DECKS AND PASSAGEWAYS
Smart boat design means clever utilisation of every space and surface available. The AutoCleat provides a strong, secure mooring point while berthed and when not required, retracts flush at the push of a button leaving those valuable surfaces uncluttered. No more stubbed toes and no more snagged fishing lines or halyards.
DESIGNED AND BUILT TO LAST
Cast from a high strength, corrosion resistant stainless steel, the horns of the AutoCleat give exceptional high side-load carrying capacity. With the remaining components manufactured from marine grade materials and composites, the AutoCleat comes complete with a 3 year warranty against manufacturing defects.
THE ULTIMATE CLEAT
The AutoCleat is the only mooring cleat that allows you to release your mooring lines, regardless of how the line is secured to the cleat and also retracts flush into the deck. International patent pending.
SIMPLE AND STRONG INSTALLATION
The AutoCleat has been designed with the home handy-man in mind. In less than 20 minutes using some basic tools, the AutoCleat can be installed and fully operational. Only two low amperage wires are required to power up the AutoCleat. The AutoCleat gains strength from being fixed into the deck of the boat.
THE LITTLE EXTRAS
Due to the unique design of the crossing 'horns' the AutoCleat secures the mooring line above the deck not on the deck and thus reducing line wear on the boat. The AutoCleat comes standard with a Power Failure Over-ride (PFO) button located in the deck plate. The PFO allows the unit to be operated in the event of boat electrical power failure, always providing a secure mooring location. For more informatiion visit www.strongmarine.com

The combined advances in rope, materials and computer technology has called on all the resources of RWO engineers to meet the challenge and produce the most efficient cleat in the world. Unique teeth progression which has been scientifically tested to offer similar amounts of holding power on small or large rope diameters (Just try and use a smaller line for same application and hold it in your hand to get some idea of the grip required.) On older cam's just one or two teeth attempt to retain the rope which was OK for more forgiving old fashion softer rope, but now with the harder core Hi-tech rope higher loading under tension are resisting deformation. More teeth contact but at less depth means a kinder cleat to rope wear, easier entry and exit. The contoured cam shell is unlike other designs, it is not a compromise, the carbon fibre teeth form direct wedge to the pillar and transfer the load to the fastenings. The rest of the body is sculptured around this and whilst providing a distinct contrasting also forms part of a lubricated fluted bearing. Thus our engineers, together with computer and plastic experts have maximised the use of modern technics resulting in a world beating design.

Clamcleat rope cleats now need little introduction. The principle of the converging tapered grooves ensures grip without wear. Simply lay the rope which will automatically cleat under load. To release just jerk upwards.
There are now 3 basic models (i) original moulded nylon, (ii) racing aluminium silver coated, (iii) racing aluminium hard anodised.
The nylon models remain best value for where high loads or rope surge are not encountered.
