A First Row Container Stacker, for stacking laden containers 3, 4 & 5 high, the H40.00-50.00XM-16CH series are able to perform container shunting operations at exceptional speeds. This truck has been purposely developed to deliver these high 'box-rates' to offer an alternative cost-effective solution to customers, when 2nd / 3rd row storage is not required.

Top Lift spreaders:
The spreader can adjust its length to lift containers from 20’ to 40’ using ISO floating twistlocks. Mechanical Pile Slope (MPS), slew and reach (optional) features enable easy location onto containers. Additional tilt and side shift are provided by the fork lift truck.
The TLF40 is designed with fork pockets to fit standard or inverted forks. The spreader is latched onto the heels of the forks by means of pivoting arms mechanically secured with pins. Slew and reach is optional: it is achieved by 2 hydraulic cylinders which connect the spreader and an intermediate forks frame fitted between the forks and the fork pockets mounted on sliding pads. Dedicated fork mounting ensure self leveling with containers lying on trailers with pile slope up to 5°. The telescopic spreader is of a monobeam frame construction designed to absorb both vertical and horizontal forces. Four ISO twistlocks engage the containers top apertures and lock into the corner castings. As standard, the spreader is equipped with 4 x 10 tonnes lifting lugs in the corners of the end beams for handling damaged containers or special cargoes.
The TLF40 is controlled with 24 VDC solenoid operated valves and inductive proximity sensors. The electrical system is designed to ensure maximum safety during operation. All motions of the spreader are controlled from the driver’s cab over serial communication (CANopen) or parallel wiring (optional) and all commands are processed safely by the spreader Electronic Control Unit (ECU).

ELME Spreader Model 815 is a telescopic top spreader for the handling of loaded ISO containers. It is designed for use on the forks of fork lift trucks. The basic concept of this type of spreader offers distinct advantages such as:
- two parallel telescopic beams, assuring max overlap
- beam sections dimensioned to absorb not only the vertical, but also the very considerable horizontal forces
- floating twistlocks, allowing movements up to 10 mm in each direction, made of 42CrMo4 forged and hardened steel, extremely easy to service.
The basic spreader is supplied with fork pockets, fitting normal and inverted forks. Simple lock pins fit behind the heels of the forks, providing a safe fixation. Wear pads allow the spreader to glide easily on the upper surface of the truck%u2019s forks. Two hydraulic cylinders connect the separate fork frame to the spreader. By powering either one or both cylinders, the slew and reach functions are activated.
Each twistlock is protected individually against unwanted rotation by a mechanical system. Additionally, electric signals from all land pins simultaneously, indicating that all twistlocks have landed properly, are preconditions for the turning of the twistlocks. With the container lifted, the twistlocks can not be turned. Automatic locking, just seconds after landing, is an option. A signal is available to the truck to block the hoist function if the twistlocks are not fully turned. Another signal is given to stop the downward movement of the carriage as soon as the spreader has landed properly on the container.With twistlocks "landed" and/or "locked" the extension/retraction function is blocked.

Deck Handler
The "Deck Handler" is a specialized all-wheel drive marine reach stacker designed for use on-board coastal vessels and large river barges. It is designed to reach out over the edge of the ship and lift a container from the wharf's edge. The operator retracts the boom to bring the container on-board the ship, and then stows the container on deck. A similar machine could also be transported on trains.
