CJC%u2122 Filter Separators combine fine filtration with water separation all in one unit, with an integrated circulating pump. They are designed for use in applications containing hydraulic oil, diesel fuel, lubrication oil, etc., in which water ingress is a constant or recurrent problem.
CJC%u2122 Filter Separators remove water by coalescence and at the same time minimize oil contamination levels of particles and oil degradation products (oxidation resin/sludge, varnish).
The CJC%u2122 depth filters have a filtration degree of 3 microns absolute and a very large dirt-holding capacity.
This, combined with efficient and continuous water removal from the oil, provides numerous benefits including reduced maintenance, increased productivity, and maximum lifetime of system components, in-line filters and oil.
The modular Filter Separators are built and sized to specific customer requirements - whether the oil volume is 2 litres or 200,000 litres.
CJC%u2122 Filter Separators ensure trouble-free operation of marine hydraulics, marine diesel fuel systems, steam turbine lube systems and water-cooled hydraulic industry equipment.

The Hyde Marine Separator, developed in the early 1970's, uses Hyde's proven and reliable method for gravity separation of oil from bilge water to less than 15 ppm. The separator exceeds all performance requirements of U.S. Coast Guard 46CFR162.050 and IMO Resolution MEPC.60 (33) and is certified by the U.S. Coast Guard.

A complete pollution-prevention solution for bilge water, the PetroLiminator is a U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) and International Maritime Organization (IMO) approved oily water separator (OWS) that easily handles phase-separated oil, emulsified oil and water. Properly used, the system takes suction directly from the ship's bilge or oily water collection tank and reduces the total petroleum hydrocarbons to less than 15 parts per million. Emulsified oil is easily handled by the system, whether caused by detergents and/or the ship's mechanical systems.
This automated bio-mechanical system is safe, reliable and requires low maintenance. Unlike conventional oil water separators, the PetroLiminator actually destroys oil and grease using naturally occurring bacteria. The technology used in the PetroLiminator has been successfully used in hundreds of land-based applications since the 1970's. Now, the PetroLiminator has been improved and specially designed for shipboard applications. EnSolve received a patent in 1998 for shipboard use of the PetroLiminator.

NFV Membrane Filtration deoilers are designed to separate all oil/water emulsions. The process requires neither additional thermal or chemical aids nor it generates new downstream pollution in the form of sludge or exhaust air. Functional tests on all types of oils and fuels used in shipping and by NATO vessels, and the combination of these with fire extinguishing foam and a variety of cleaner solvents, yielded outstanding separation results which comply fully with the international IMO Marpol MEPC.107(49) requirements and military test standards. The MFEB series delivers certified flow rates of between 0,1 m³/h and 7.5 m³/h. Even in large volume streams the oil in the water is dependably and thoroughly separated: NFV units achieve residual oil contents of significantly below 1 ppm – as has been demonstrated in successful tests performed by GL and German Navy.
Advantage:
High separation performance
Compact design
Exceptionally robust
Fully automatic, no supervision required
Low maintenance system design
Long maintenance intervals
Highly durable membranes
Achieves high oil concentrations
Can handle waste water with up to 100% oil

Purification or clarification of mineral oils used in marine installations and power stations (fuel and lubricating oils).
Separation takes place in a solids-retaining bowl that can be arranged for either clarification or purification. In both cases, the contaminated oil is fed into the separator through the centre, and it is separated by centrifugal force into its various phases, the heaviest phase (sludge and water) being forced outwards to the periphery of the bowl. The accumulation of sludge is periodically removed from the bowl by hand.
Installation
The oil is pumped, heated, and separated as shown in the figure. A liquid seal in the separator bowl prevents the oil from escaping through the water outlet. If this seal is broken, an alarm device is activated. With unmanned engine rooms, the
signals are transmitted to a remote control unit. When the seal is broken, the three-way valve shuts off the oil feed and the oil is recirculated until the fault is corrected.

The CJC%u2122 Blue Baleen Bilge Water Systems are polishing systems, used to absorb oil from bilge water to below 5 ppm.
Based on a unique absorption principle with the specially developed and patent pending CJC%u2122 Blue Baleen CJC%u2122 OilAbsorb Inserts, the systems absorb oil from bilge water, process and wastewater, ensuring environmentally friendly operations and constant compliance with the IMO MEPC Standard.
Typical applications are marine bilge water systems, wastewater treatment, rinse water and process water for recycling purposes.
With low operational costs, and practically no maintenance requirements, the CJC%u2122 Blue Baleen Bilge Water Systems are cost-effective solutions to bilge- and wastewater problems within industry and marine applications.

Oily Water Separators
More than ever before, the reliability of bilge water separators is in the focus of public interest. Our decades of experience in the production of bilge water separators and our comprehensive know-how for their onboard operation and maintenance led to the development of the two-stage Turbulo Mechanical Phase Breaker (TMPB). It benefits from the 80 years of experience with our traditional Turbulo oily water separator and, of course, meets the requirements of IMO Resolution MEPC.107(49).
Your benefits at a glance:
- Residual oil content in the outlet water well below 15 ppm
(test results near 1 ppm)
-Compact dimensions
- Small space requirement
- Simple installation
- Easy maintenance
- Fully automatic operation
- Separate installation of pump and second stage possible
Because the analysis of bilge water is very complex by its nature, our in-house laboratory is well equipped to analyse and determine, among other things, the oil content according to ISO 9377-2, the particle size of the hydrocarbon index and the interfacial tension.

The Wärtsilä Senitec M-series system gives the operator effective control over all bilge and sludge media, as well as over any discharges into the sea.
The system conforms to the highest safety standards, which besides being an essential factor in its’ competitiveness, is also a substantial value in itself. No accident, discharge, or injury should be caused by our equipment. The Wärtsilä Senitec M-series is approved according to IMO resolution MPEC 107(49), which came into force on January 1st, 2005. An entirely new leading-edge separator is at the heart of the system. Rigorous testing, including extensive onboard trials, have been carried out with excellent results.
