One of Europe's smallest SOLAS-approved lifejackets
Racing Kon-Tiki lifejacket is compact, needs little space and is equipped with a click-belt, boat whistle and pocket for mounting of light. The outer fabric is made of strong polyester, and the flotation material cannot puncture. Furtheron, the lifejacket is easily visible, with orange safety colour and approved SOLAS-reflectors. |

The newly developed lifejacket from Regatta, Kon-Tiki Royal, has been received with open arms for boats, both from shipowners and marine shipyards. It is developed in order to fulfil an eventual future requirement for 150N buoyancy on SOLAS lifejackets. Kon-Tiki lifejacket has a comfortable collar, which provides optimum vision and an excellent flotation position in the water. The buoyancy is more than 150N, and the lifejacket has a MED-B-1661 certificate, approved according to:
- Annex A1, item No. A.1/1.4 and Annex B, Module B in the
directive. SOLAS 74, Regulation III/4, III/7.2, III/34 and X/3
LSA Code and 2000 HSC Code 8.1, 8.3.
