Our new "Big-Black" molded chickenloop Quick Release provides easy one-handed release under any line load. With only one internal moving part, it's a cinch to reassemble in the water, giving you security and confidence that adds to your riding enjoyment. The '09 Best Bar comes with "OSR" grab handles on all front and rear flying lines allowing you to self-land your kite safely regardless of wind direction. A multi-way bypass/handlepass leash can be configured as a bypass, back line, or suicide leash to suit your needs.
Depower travel and bar reach are fully adjustable from just a single knot position, accommodating the needs of riders of any body shape. Our dual-depower stopper takes the strain against the bar so you don't have to, reducing the load on your arms and increasing your comfort level. With color coded 700lb rated flying lines, matching bar colors, and a high load-rated centerline swivel, the '09 Best Bar is the perfect complement to either the Waroo or Nemesis HP kites.

Our new Quad control bar also comes equipped with the new Iron Heart III. The front line safety system works similar to a 5th Element by allowing the kite to fall to the water and lay de-powered on it’s back in perfect re-launch position. Although reliable in most situations, it does not offer the same level of safety of the 5th Element system.

The Iron Heart III requires minimal release forces and is not affected by harsh sand and saltwater conditions. Our small, lightweight Vario Cleat allows you to quickly and easily adjust it to your desired de-power stroke while the system automatically trims your lines to the perfect length. If the dangling trim line has ever interfered with your flow in the past, you can now forget about it focus on your riding: Simply Velcro the dangling portion to the stopper ball so it’s never in your way. The Micro Loop is no longer an integrated feature, but for those who like the comfort of riding with fixed power, the system can quickly and easily be fitted.

Bar ergonomics
The grip on the bar is soft and easy on the hands, so that even in cold weather your bar is far more comfortable and will not make your hands sore - even after prolonged use. Ergonomic bar ends provide a solid connection point at the end of the bar to improve the overall feedback from the kite whilst turning. The soft over-moulding protects your hands when kite looping and enables easy line storage on the bar.

A 5-line set ofBest Flying Lines, to be used in conjunction with the Kick Line Upgrade kit. The two back lines are 5m longer than the center and fifth lines. Pre-stretched under high load & hand matched to insure regularity. What is a Kick Bar Upgrade Kit? It changes your bar so that the 5th line runs through the bar itself, and connects (through the d-ring along the chicken loop) to your safety leash. If you unhook and accidentally let go of the bar, you will still be attached to the kite, and the kite will safely depower. Product Information:The Kick Bar Upgrade Kit does not come with5th Line bridles for your kites. (You will need a separate bridle for each kite you will be flying on your upgraded bar.) If you are buying a new Yarga or Nemesis, the bridle will come automatically with the kite, and you will not need to order it separately. However, if you are just buying a Kick Line Set and Upgrade Kit (to convert your existing Best bar), and do not already have bridles for your Best kites, you will need to buy a bridle for each kite you will be flying on the coverted 5th line bar. You can convert the most current Best Carbon as pictured on the website. If you areconverting aswivel bar, you willnot be able to use the chicken loop and depower line that is already on the bar. The optimised construction of Flexifoil Flying Lines ensures the best strength-to-weight ratio with minimum aerodynamic drag. Each Flexifoil line set is colour coded for safety and ease of use.
