Nacra 460
Like other Nacra catamarans, the design team have given sailors simplicity, quality and performance in one small catamaran. There's nothing standard about this craft. Just look at the clean hull lines, note how the beams are recessed into the hulls, yielding greater rigidity to the platform. See the level of buoyancy in the hulls meaning you stay as close to "on top" of the water as possible. Note that Nacra build in the sure footed non-slip on the side of the hulls making trapezing even easier and safer. Nacra kick-up rudders are just the same delightful mechanism as the bigger boats, making launching and recovery truly "plain sailing". The MNX mainsail gives real power for a smaller catamaran and the Dacron jib will give years of life to this wonderful little catamaran. The jib is sheeted to the front beam allowing space on the trampoline. Sails are made by Performance, one of the worlds leading sail makers, so you know that they are prepared just for you. The 460 is a tough lightweight catamaran that will give the whole family years of fun, she is the Nacra "baby" and where thousands of families will start their sailing careers, whether that be just one member gliding across the waves or more using the trapeze to gain the full benefit of the hidden treasures of the Nacra 460. The Nacra 460 is also available with Sports package which includes the MNX sports jib spinnaker kit. |

Dart 16 provides exciting performance, yet can easily be handled by inexperienced crew. The responsiveness is similar to that found on a racing dinghy, yet Dart 16 is exceptionally stable and forgiving.
For high winds, mainsail reefing is an option - the Jib can be furled in seconds and in waves, Dart 16 handles better than many larger catamarans thanks to the unique hull shape.
With skegs incorporated into the hull design, avoiding the requirement for daggerboards, plus unique lifting rudders, setting off and returning to shore is simplicity itself.

The ZIP' O is a catamaran of 16 feet which integrates several major hydrodynamic innovations.
Conceived by Christian Favre and Remi Laval-Jeantet, it is the first light multihull sailing dinghy which integrates a semi-planing hybrid hull completely new. Its asymmetrical hulls for complementary anti-center-board purpose shoulder moreover another major innovation, it so exclusive, couple of high-output center-boards-foils, the unit confer on the ZIP' O unequalled capacities course-speed.
By coupling the capacities of dynamic lift of the hulls, the reduction in
surface wet with more than 15 nodes, a course-speed exceptional and a research of maximum dynamic stability thanks to microphone-foils in "T" on the saffrons, the ZIP' O offers a range of performances very widened compared to the whole of the fleet of the existing models.
The ZIP' O is equipped in series with a deck fitting Harken and Ronstan, sails Pentex mylar, E of a mast carbon of a great lightness (weight 11 kg equipped) which returns the boat redressable to a person alone without excessive recall. |
|
The sail controls are all-simple and use the highest quality fittings from Ronstan and Harken and the patented three position kick up rudder system makes launching and recovery easy. A unique mast rotation system that faces forward rather than conventionally aft ensures the trampoline is clear and easy to move around on.
The strong build quality is second to none, with other Loday and White designs 20 years on still proving testament to their 'build it to last' and trouble-free sailing policy.
The rig by Hyde sails and Sailspar is a master piece of modern development. The Kevlar mainsail and Mylar fully battened jib provide a light and stable shape that can be easily adjusted to suit a wide variety of crew weights. The full-length battens in both sails reduce flogging and extend their competitive life.
The asymmetric spinnaker is easy to use, fast and fun. The fixed bowsprit and launch system make spinnaker sailing a breeze. The sheet loads are very low, so even the lightest of sailors can enjoy the ride. |

Maybe you've already heard of the Javelin 2 or you've read of it in relation to the recent ICCT. This regatta was reintroduced after several years because of our J2, which was used precisely for this great event in the 2004-05 editions. The best boat performance by far and winner of very many open sea regattas and notorious RAIDS or rather, long-distance races where only the fastest finishes in front, well, the J2 in this field is unparalleled, in most cases even the big 20 footers (J2 is 18 ft) cannot beat them.
The J2 is vacuum-constructed in graded layers using the best materials available in order to produce an extremely lightweight and bomb-proof boat as concerns structural strength. The rudders and daggerboards are entirely made of carbon, as is the 10 m. mast.
The components are all Harken/performance, while the spinnaker boom, the helm tiller and the spinnaker snuffer are also made of carbon. Ready to sail the boat weights just 135 kg, with a width of 2.45 m., while its 18 foot length corresponds to 5.50 metres. There are obviously 2 sails; a full-battened radial mainsail in pentex with a 20 m2 surface area and a gennaker of the same size. There are 2 well-required trapeze wires to tame this wild animal!
The J2 belongs to the greatly expanding Formula 18 High-Tech Class (F18HT), which now has numerous crews mainly from Italy, Switzerland, France, Spain and USA. During the racing season, crews race in Class regattas around Europe and the USA and in fleet races such as raids where rating systems are used. |

| When you receive your Nacra Infusion, out of the boxes, you put her together and go racing!! You don't spend hours sanding and cleaning, SHE IS READY. Simple as that! It is all there for you, all quality packed and labelled. Unpacking your new Infusion is a real thrill, one you will never forget. The boat is named after the method used in construction, the only production catamaran made with this modern Infusion system, this allows better material weight distribution within the hulls, yielding greater stiffness where it is needed, and stiffness is speed ! Hull volume, larger than other F18's, means that the Infusion drives, and drives hard with handling that is rapid and precise. Wave piercing technology reduces drag and improves speed in all conditions, the Infusion wins in big seas and big winds just as well as gliding on a lake in flat water. In contrast to other designs, the Nacra Infusion stabilises herself at high speed due to dynamic lift, hence reducing pitching to low levels yielding a far more consistent airflow over the sails leading to higher speeds. The fully battened jib, the self tacking jib rail, the large spinnaker chute, ask your dealer for the options. You need add nothing ! It is all there!! The high aspect dagger boards get you high upwind, the rudders are responsive and positive, trampoline is tightened from all four sides giving a firmer, drier, cleaner spacious platform. The sophistication of Performance Sails and the wing mast shape complement each other perfectly to allow you to improve your results. It is up to you, the Infusion will get you to the front of the fleet! |

Catamaran of regatta par excellence, the eloquent prize list of the F18 Cirrus however did not brake its originator in his search for performances...
New set of sails, new profile of chechmate KITE: the "engine" of the F18 Cirrus ensures power and facilitated adjustment.
Better course, better speed with the meadows, greater rigidity of platform, research within aerofoil: of its design to its realization, the F18 Cirrus answers this single creed: "To go always more quickly, for the pleasure of the feelings, to gain..." |

| The Tornado was designed by Rodney March in 1967 and has since then been the king of catamarans. Its performance has been untouchable by other 20 footers upwind and with the addition of the spinnaker in 2001 the boat reigns supreme on all points of sail. A very successful design is one of the factors explaining what distinguishes the boat from the competition. |
|
| The Marstrom M 20 is our statement of a modern high performance cat. At a 115 kgs all up it is 70 kgs lighter than a F 18 or 55 kgs lighter than a Tornado. With a similar sail area sent on a high aspect 10,5 meter rig it will be faster than anything upwind. Downwind it will lift its bow knuckle clear of the water and semi plane up to a GPS verified 30 knots. |

To fulfill the requirements of its customers, the Swiss building site Ventilo, extremely of its reputation, decides this year to attack the market of the catamarans of "big-engined car".
The developments of the Favre-Morelli drawing, give to the hulls of this new Ventilo a more aggressive pace while keeping a perfect harmony. This Formula 20 sportsman exploits to the maximum his lines in order to hold optimum a course ratio/speed.
Gréement the sloop, equipped with a carbon mast of 9.75 meters, (Catboat 11 meters) allows fast transfers in a broad range of winds and pushes back the limits of the charging in the largest waves.
The perfect distribution of the weights, with the use of carbon in the construction of the mast, the center-boards and the saffrons makes it possible the unit to exploit the few 23 square meters of surface with close and the 24 square meters of spinnaker. |

Nacra 20 One design
For the larger couple, with combined weights of over 170 kgs/370lbs. there is only one choicein catracing. The Nacra “One Design” . Other builders have tried but none have succeeded, the power of the the Nacra 20 is legend, yet she handles that power with grace and ease. The vinyl polyester sandwich foam hulls give a very stiff strong platform, stiffness IS speed!! Good weight carrying capacity, large buoyant hulls are fairly flat on the bottom, so the platform lays high on the water keeping you dry and makes tacking really easy, self tacking rail with fully battened jib all help make this boat a joy to drive. Clear class rules give this boat the real racing option and you are not sailing with your wallet, you have the same equipment as everyone else, your skills get you there!! The Nacra 20 one design is a perfect boat for fleet racing and also for long distance competition, when her pedigree really comes to the fore. Double trapezing in just a few knots of breeze, the rig allows you to play the power upwind in stronger winds, the mast twists off , opening the leach, reducing the power of the gusts and then returns in the lulls keeping you trapezing at a far more constant position that any other catamaran. The powerful Pentax mainsail and the fully battened jib gets you to the top mark fast and first, then you launch the 25 sqm spinnaker from the chute and leave the rest standing!! This boat is a true GT, she likes space and open waters, you will love her.
To win Grand Prix, this 20 is the boat to own! |
