How to choose this product
An inflatable canoe is propelled by paddling. Once deflated, it can be easily folded, stored in a bag and transported in a car trunk.
Inflatable canoes can be used for touring lakes and rivers, in flat or whitewater. They are generally capable of transporting camping gear for overnight trips. Ideal for individuals, they are also popular in adventure and exploration clubs.
These craft have more or less the same shape as rigid canoes. They feature upturned bow and stern to ease passage through rapids. They are generally made of Hypalon® or PVC/neoprene. One- to five-passenger models are common. Larger versions holding up to 12 persons are rarer. Passengers can paddle seated on integrated thwarts or kneeling in the bottom of the hull.
How to choose
In addition to carrying capacity, consider the craft's weight, especially if it will be used for trekking or taken on vacation by airplane.
- Easy transport and storage
