The Solent Rib 650 is one of the most popular sized ribs. It handles perfectly, in both calm and rough waters. The deep V hull grips the water so the rib can travel fast with stability. The weight and balancing of the rib have been carefully designed so that you don't slam down on the waves or are twisted and turned - you'll feel safe in this rib. Because it handles well you'll be able to use it more often, in rougher conditions knowing that it will hold its own. It will comfortably seat eight, yet it can be towed behind a normal family car. Rigged with a 75hp the rib can achieve 25 knots and with a 150hp it can achieve speeds in excess of 50mph

The Solent Rib 690 has proven to be a popular rib with individual and company charter companies. Often the 650 is just a little to small for taking customers out on charter, but the 750 is too big for a novice to handle on a RYA training session. This is where the 690 proves to be the ideal solution. In the rib shown here the customer has moved the front console to the rear of the rib maximising the seating and space available on the rib.

The Solent Rib 900 has been developed with the additional features our customers requested to enhance their enjoyment of driving a Solent Rib. The rib still has the deep V hull giving an excellent ride through rough water. The tubes have been tapered and designed to give good stability at rest as well as an overall sporty look to the rib. The installation of bow thrusters means that the rib can handle well at low speed in high wind enabling the driver much greater control over the rib when coming along side or mooring. The wrap around console gives greater visibility and room for the driver. Raised bow lockers and seat lockers maximize storage space. The console lifts up enabling wiring of additional electronics, and easy access to existing equipment. Performance as always is key, on the first trial she reached speeds of over 60mph. Fast, stable, and quite, a really enjoyable experience.
