These DSB Boats have been developed and tested in accordance with the latest SOLAS/IMO regulations and are approved by the German See Berufsgenossenschaft, the British Department of Transport as well as by other leading shipping authorities as Rescue Boats for the purpose of Schedule 2, Part III of the Merchant Shipping (Life Saving Appliances) Regulations 1986 and hence Chapter III, Regulation 47 of the 1983 Amendments to the International Convention for the Safety of Ufe at Sea (SOLAS), 1974.
