The ship’s name is made up of single letters, or groups of letters of various dimensions and characters that allow an easy and quick assembly. The visible part of the name is realized in aisi 316 L stainless steel, precisely polished, while at the back, in the body of the Plexiglas letter, an optical fibre is inserted to guarantee a uniform, soft and elegant backlight.
The optical fibres backlight of the ship’s name is of unique quality. Since each optical fibres system, including the one used for the back of the letters, does not require the flow of electricity and it therefore avoid all kinds of damage. This allows for the ship’s name to be located in places where it is not accessible. In addition, with the optical fibres system, the brightness of the light can be determined by choosing from an entire chromatic range which can easily be changed at anytime.
