UNEX™ B consists of a large furnace welded to horizontal, plain type convection tubes. The low-alloyed plate material is durable against cracking, and it is easy to weld.
The UNEX™ B boilers have fully water-cooled furnaces and are constructed without refractory.
Adequate furnace dimensioning guarantees proper combustion, moderate loading and low material stresses. With an efficiency level at approx. 85%, the UNEX™ B has an economical operation and offers savings in fuel costs.
UNEX™ B boilers are easy to clean by using manual utensils.

The SUNROD™ CHS boiler for hot water has a unique pin tube extended heating surface. The vertical cylindrical body consists of a furnace and a convection part integrated with the drum.
The furnace consists of a gas tight membrane wall. A number of downcomer tubes connecting the drum to the ring header ensure good natural circulation at all loads through the furnace tubes.
The boiler is side-fired which makes the boiler very easy to ventilate and gives an operation and maintenance friendly location of the burner and its controls.
The incoming system water is mixed into the boiler drum by means of a spreader with nozzles. The hot water generation is practically instant from start. The response from load variation is very fast.
The boiler can be inspected on the water side through the manhole in the pressure vessel and through the hand holes in the ring header. On the gas side, the boiler can be inspected from the flue gas box at the top of the boiler and from the furnace.
The standard cleaning method is by water washing, which efficiently restores the original boiler performance data. After cleaning, it is possible to make a visual inspection of 100% of all the heating surfaces, a very important advantage when trying to reach highest possible efficiency during the boiler's entire lifetime.

The NPR Hot water boilers can be delivered including electrical heating elements with various outputs and to the number requested. Necessary switches and automatic controls are fitted in same cabinet and enclosures as for the oil-fired burner.
