Seafarers do not like limits. This is why Webasto has developed solutions to extend the boating season. Most air conditioning systems features a circuit inversion function which allows the system to be used for heating. However, moderate water tempera-tures are essential for efficient heating. Once the seawater temperature falls below 6°C, the heating circuit becomes inefficient.
Now Webasto is offering the BlueComfort system for total independence from environmental conditions. It consists of a water heating system and BlueCool air conditioner integrated into a single system. This unique solution is cost-effective and compact, providing a perfect climate via a single centralised system.

This heater system is compact with all heat creation and fan distribution neatly packaged in one heater unit. The Micro Air EP20 (20,000 BTU/hr) systems provide a significant advancement over conventional air conditioning technology. However, to think of them only as air conditioners would sell them short. Micro Air EP systems not only control the temperature and humidity of the air inside the boat, they control the air quality as well.
