AC Generating Sets 3 to 50kVA
Beta Marine Generating Set having Continuous Rated Outputs, and operating at 0.8 PF, 50Hz or 60Hz; designed, built and tested by BETA MARINE Limited.
•Beta Marine Kubota water cooled diesel engine, naturally aspirated, rated for continuous operation in accordance with ISO 3046 (BV3300T is turbocharged). An overload of 10% is available for one hour during 12.
•Heat exchanger cooling with fresh water and sea water pumps; water cooled exhaust manifold and water injection exhaust bend.
•12 volt electric start system with a combined start, alarm and shutdown module.
•Marine rated generator operating at 0.8pf, and 50 Hz, single bearing construction, complete with terminal box, automatic voltage regulator, mounted on substantial steel feet with marine failsafe anti-vibration mountings.
•Each generating set is “full load” tested with a 12 months Warranty from date of commissioning.
•Keel/box cooling versions are available
Acoustically Housed Generating Sets - Based upon our Standard Generating set but housed in an Acoustic Canopy – the noise level will be less than 60dB(A) sound pressure when measured at 7 metres under “free field” conditions. All generating set connections are brought out of the housing for quick and easy installation. |

Marine Power 30 to 900kVA
Beta Marine produce marine generating sets to customer’s specific requirements, including Classification Societies: Lloyds Register of Shipping, Det Norske Veritas, Bureau Veritas, Germanisher Lloyd, ABS etc.
We can offer: Cummins, Caterpillar, Perkins, Volvo, Scania, MAN, MTU marine diesel engines with heat exchanger (or keel or radiator) cooling, coupled to Newage “Stamford” or Mecc Alte marine rated alternators.
Beta Marine’s considerable experience in building: Main; Emergency and Harbour Generating Sets for different applications: passenger ferries, cargo boats, fast patrol boats, gas carriers, fishing trawlers, tugs and “super yachts” has been used in the development of these generating sets from 30kVA up to 900kVA. We can also supply generating sets in Acoustic housings designed to customer specifications.
