The Diesel Caddy meets all current U.N. and D.O.T. specifications when used according to Todd’s instructions for transporting fuel. All Caddies bear the UN Marking, “UN3H1W”. U.S. Patent #5667113
Diesel Caddies hold 28 Gallons of fuel and meet DOT requirements. Features include 10 Feet (305cm) of U.L. approved hose with static wire, molded hose brackets, U.L. approved, spring loaded nozzle, 3/4" U.L. approved ball valve, aluminum non sparking axle, pneumatic tires with nylon bearings for boats, nylon wheel hubs, vented cap and a molded-in baffle for strength & durability. Optional pump for boat kit is available to transfer fuel easily above the height of the caddy.

The new fifth edition of ISGOTT now identifies the advantage of fitting flammable gas detection at accommodation air conditioning inlet. The MM2000 is ideally suited to this duty with duct mounted flammable gas detectors for boats simply mounted on the inlet and the control panel for boats located in the cargo control room (CCR).
The addressable sensors are installed on a single four-core loop cable that saves installation costs when multiple inlets are to be monitored, for monitoring general accommodation areas and hydrogen sulphide / hydrocarbon gas detection in the cargo pump for boat room.

The SCHOTTEL Pump for boat-Jet (SPJ) operates on the principle of a centrifugal pump. An impeller sucks in water from under the hull and forces it into a pump housing. The outlet nozzles are fitted in the bottom plate, making it possible for the jet to be installed in a flat-bottomed hull too.
With a compact design, low loss of buoyancy and low suction effect, Pump-Jets with power ratings up to 3500 kW develop a high thrust even in extremely shallow water and over a wide speed range. Like all SCHOTTEL products, they are distinguished by their excellent manoeuvring properties - as propulsion units for inland and coasting vessels or as independent manoeuvring and standby systems for seagoing boat ships. |
