The 2010 Mega XS slalom sails are designed with a bit more profile for even more power in lower winds and the size graduation has been overworked.
The sizes 4,7 and 5,2 are equipped with a special camber set for RDM masts. In comparison to the forerunner model, Renato Morlotti was able to reduce the weight by using a new material mixture. Also the Mega XR models which are designed for race and formula sailors, benefit from this improvement.

Blade mast pocket construction: equalized loading between the mast panel (interior) and the pocket. The result is tensioned, firm mast pockets that rotate with an ease that must be experienced to be believed and durability.
RDM and SDM mast compatibility. Blade FRs are equipped with both rdm and sdm Tekcams. With one design both mast types are available.
The Loft presented the first rdm 520 and 550 masts in 2009. Rdm masts are efficient! A slender leading edge is fast!
RDM masts = superior reliability! Cam pressure without mast wall deformation.
RDM masts = easy, complete cam rotation.
Blade FRs 2010 are available (all sizes) in Pentex- the upper body panels cut from light, durable, and UV resistant Pentex fiber.
