Prep G is a "black out" primer to be used on glass, polycarbon (PC) and acrylic glass (PMMA) without ceramic coating (frit) before dispensing the glazing 70-08A, 70-11, and 70-12 adhesives.
Prep G provides ultraviolet light protection to the bond line. Note: UV protection is required for all direct glazing (windshield and windscreen) bonding applications. Factory applied frits provide UV protection.
Prep G must be used on glass that does NOT have ceramic coating (frit) and must be APPLIED BEFORE the glazing adhesive. Read and follow instructions in the Technical Data Sheet.

Undercoat for excellent long-lasting anti-rust protection. Excellent durability in constant contact with water contrary to linseed oil primers. Greater elasticity than standard anti-rust products. Receives most surface painting systems. Excellent workability. Ensures a smooth surface. Satisfactory adhesion to old coatings. Marine Primer is a special resins-based primer with a specific weight of 2.45 kg/lt. Apply directly on rust (remove only thick flakes). It is important to stir thoroughly before application. For the maintenance of wooden surfaces, it is recommended to add the special resins solution to the primer. MARINE PRIMER is ideal if long-lasting exposure to UV radiation is required without application of a final coat. A multiple-use product, since MARINE PRIMER is the primer for wood and metal surfaces painted with Paintol, Metal-x, Polygloss, Tropikal 380/480/580, Monotreten and Antiskid products.
