The MISSION™ XW is a water tube, forced circulation exhaust gas boiler/economizer. It is specially designed for heat recovery from diesel engine exhaust gas but the basic design suits numerous applications.
The heating surface is made of double gilled tubes with a spacing which minimizes soot build-up. It is supplied with an efficient cleaning system with steam or compressed air sootblowers.
A design with single gilled tubes is also available.
The economizer can be supplied with a dividing wall system for connection of several exhaust gas sources to one boiler.
The MISSION™ XW may be used in conjunction with an oil-fired auxiliary boiler or a separate steam drum, in both cases acting as a steam/water separator.
In connection with a thorough revision/ standardization of Aalborg Industries' marine boiler product range, the exhaust gas economizer previously referred to as AV-6N has been renamed to MISSION™ XW. The abbreviation refers to eXhaust gas Water tube boiler.

UNEX™ P multi-function exhaust gas economizer is a water tube, forced circulation boiler for heat recovery of diesel engine exhaust gas.
The heat transfer surface consists of vertical, concentric, parallel steel tube coils connected to inlet and outlet manifold pipes.
The rounded shape of the gas-tight steel shell surrounding the tube coils is ideal to withstand exhaust gas pulsations from the engine.
Sound absorber and by-pass duct are located inside the tube coils. The sound absorption effect with basic construction is approx. 20 dB(A), but with an additional built-in sound absorber module, a maximum effect of 35 dB(A) can be achieved.
Vertical and straight exhaust gas passages between the tube rows - together with plain tube construction - decrease soot build-up on heating surfaces. This construction runs without problems even in the most demanding operation conditions.

The UNEX™ G exhaust gas economizer is a water tube, forced circulation economizer designed for heat recovery from diesel engine exhaust gas.
The heat transfer surface consists of horizontal finned (gilled) twin steel tubes preventing vibrations from gas pulsation. The heating surface is covered with gas-tight steel casing.
Special attention is paid to flexible construction. Each twin tube can expand freely in relation to the end plate and other tubes in order to minimize thermal stresses. The heat transfer surface is divided into vertical sections facilitating the tube repair work.
Economizers are arranged with horizontal spaces for steam sootblowers at certain intervals. Vertical and straight exhaust gas passage with adequate spacing between the fins decreases soot build-up on surfaces. The spacing is determined depending on the type of the engine and the required heat transfer surface area. The heating surface dimensions are laid out to maintain sufficient gas velocity giving the best self-cleaning effect within the design limits.

The oil-fired part of the AQ-10/16 is based on the AQ-12 bare tube design. It has a 100% water-cooled furnace without refractory.
The exhaust gas part of the AQ-10/16 is built up in smoke tubes based on the MISSION™ XS (ex-name AQ-2) design which is reliable and easy to maintain.
The AQ-10/16 has adequate room for inspection and maintenance in the steam/water space. The two smoke sides can be water-washed or mechanically cleaned through the boiler uptakes. The AQ-10/16 has a low space/performance ratio.

MISSION™ OC is a high performance, combined oil and exhaust gas-fired boiler, with a 0.75-5 t/h capacity of the oil-fired section at 9 bar(g) design pressure.
MISSION™ OC is a vertical, cylindrical boiler with an exhaust gas section consisting of bare smoke tubes while the oil-fired section features pin tubes in the convection section.

The economizers exhaust gas boilers GN ECO have been studied to be installed in all types of industrial processes when discharging hot gasses in the atmosphere. Hot gasses, flowing through the GN ECO are used to heat countercurrent, another fluid utilized in industrial processes, achieving important energy savings while reducing operating costs.

Fire tube vertical boilers, composed by a flame and a recovery side to be installed on the exhaust gas plant. When the exhaust gas side is not enough, the flame side automatically turns on in order to integrate the lacking steam.

The basic model is designed for connection of one or two engines to the exhaust-gas section. The oil-fired section has a fully automatic burner and the boiler is fitted as standard with a hot water coil with a capacity of 25 Vmin.') Larger capacities on request.
Based on a boiler temp. of 85degC and h.w. temperature of 70degC.
Space required for removal of h.w.coil and heating element (if fitted) is approx. 600 mm.

COMBI is a high quality composite boiler design offering the space-saving alternative of two boilers combined into one. COMBI is a combined oil and exhaust gas-fired boiler with a capacity range of up to 7t/h steam from the oil-fired section and up to 4t/h from the exhaust gas section. It is a standardized, preassembled boiler plant which is fast and easy to install.
