Northern Lights is pleased to announce the Clean-Sep filtration system, an innovative solution to help keep your cruising grounds pristine.
Quality and precision matter - this is the reason Northern Lights is on the cutting edge of fiberglass wet exhaust treatment solutions. We are proud to present the newest innovation in clean, efficient energy production, the revolutionary Clean-Sep Filtration System.
The Clean-Sep system addresses the issue of water sheen associated with a diesel generator set. The patented Clean-Sep system binds hydrocarbons to a filter system and discharges clean, clear water.
Designed and manufactured by industry leader Centek and private labeled to run with your Northern Lights generator set, Clean-Sep provides the peace of mind that comes from owning the highest quality products.
The Clean-Sep filtration system can be integrated between your lift muffler and output. It is compatible with any Northern Lights generator set in a vareity of applications.
With environmental concerns and shrinking moorage spaces, keeping the marina clean has never been more critical. Clean-Sep is Lloyd’s Certified and ABS Type Approved and truly represents the state of the art in marine power generation technology.
More than power... Northern Lights powers your dreams.

SILENCERMARINE develops, produces and offers through its online catalog a wide range of GRP water separators. They are manufactured using the same materials and proven technology as GRP silencers. The offered "HYDROSEP" series covers a huge variety of body dimensions and inlet/outlet pipe bores for right fitting to a wide range of applications, whether generators or main or auxiliary propulsion as well. Through their fitting, four basic beneficts may be achieved:
- The cooling water is separated and discharged overboard and the water-free exhaust gases can be piped in a variety of newly available paths
- The irritating noise of water "sploshing" out from the transom outlet is removed completely
- The exhaust noise from generators running in quiet anchorages is reduced by up to 90%.
- Back pressure is minimized.

The Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) process reduces NOx emissions to harmless substances normally found in the air that we breathe.
Reducing NOx emissions by 85-95%, SCR is currently the most efficient method of NOx reduction. Hence, it is easy to reach a NOx level of 2 g/kWh or lower, which complies with the most stringent levels at sea.

Alfa Laval fuel oil filter
Automatic filters designed specifically for full flow filtering of lubrificating oils for trunk piston and crosshead engines and full-flow filtration of the heavy fuel oils used in modern two-stroke and four-stroke diesel engines.
Fuel oil filter
The F type range of Alfa laval automatic fuel oil filter systems provides effective full-flow filtration of fuel oil (FO), heavy fuel oil (HFO) and marine diesel oils (MDO) up to 700 cSt/50°C. These fuels are widely used in modern two-stroke and four-stroke diesel engines, and the quality and cleanliness of such fuel has an important influence on engine efficiency, fuel consumption, reliability and service life.
This range of automatic fuel oil filter systems only requires very limited investment yet helps ensure reliable engine operation, along with peace of mind for those dependent on the engine working as intended. The robust, space-saving design makes these units easy to install as well as to retrofit as upgrades to existing installations.
These units use fuel oil that has already been filtered to backflush the filters, doing away with any need for a compressed air supply. This backflushed oil is then cleaned by refiltration in a special filter-equipped diversion chamber (which also uses the same backflushing principle) before being recirculated into the system. This diversion chamber acts as an automatic maintenance-free sludge treatment system, collecting and concentrating the particles backflushed from the full-flow chamber and the subsequent cleaning process into a concentrate sludge.

CJC%u2122 Fine Filters are oil filtration units with integrated circulating pumps for off-line installation. The filters are recognized around the world as highly efficient oil maintenance systems for applications involving hydraulic oil, lubrication oil, gear oil, quenching oil, phosphate esters and more.
CJC%u2122 Fine Filters are ideal for controlling oil contamination levels for particles, water and degradation products (oxidation resin/sludge, varnish).
The CJC%u2122 depth filters have a filtration degree of 3 microns absolute and a very large dirt-holding capacity.
CJC%u2122 Fine Filters deliver measurable customer benefits: lower operation and maintenance costs, increased productivity, and maximum lifetime for system components, in-line filters and oil.
The modular filter units are built and sized to specific customer requirements - whether the oil volume is 2 litres or 200,000 litres.

Compact and space saving lube oil filters for full flow filtering lubricating oils in truck piston and crosshead engines.
Alfa Laval automatic lube oil filter systems are designed specifically for full-flow filtering of the lubricating oils used in trunk piston and crosshead engines. This extremely effective filtering prevents contaminants from entering sensitive parts of the engine, thus reducing engine wear and boosting durability. The compact, space-saving design makes them easy to install and to retrofit as upgrades to existing installations.
There are three main types of Alfa Laval lube oil filter, all with an automatic backflushing system. The X type is designed for use with crosshead engines, the T type for use with trunk piston engines and the CCU (Combined Cleaning Unit) type for use with trunk piston engines of up to 5,000 kW in capacity.

CJC%u2122 Blue Baleen OilAbsorb 38/100 Multistay is a bilge water polishing system with 8 inserts fitted in two parallel 38/100 housings. On request, the Multistay system is available with more than two housings, custom-made for the application.
The specially developed and patent pending CJC%u2122 Blue Baleen OilAbsorb Inserts (OAI) are unique and makes the system act as a polishing filter, absorbing oil to values below 5 ppm. This guarantees that legal requirements are always met, operational costs are reduced and environmental standards are kept high.
From the bilge water tank, water flows to an oily bilge water separator (15 ppm), before entering the CJC%u2122 OilAbsorb System.
The filter is used for polishing of bilge water or industrial process and wastewater, and is available with or without centrifugal pump and drip pan.
The typical installation onboard ships is between separator and monitor.

RR 4.2 Rescue Boat
This rescue boat for sea-going vessels is made of robust
fiberglass-reinforced polyester resin (FRP), which means
it features an especially long service life and stiffness as
compared with inflatable craft. Chine-type framing with a
transom stern combines with foam sandwich construction
to permit planing with the standard 11 kW (15 h.p.) engine,
which is an advantage over round-frame craft. This compact
boat is powered by an outboard motor with a rating of up
to a maximum of 44 kW (60 h.p.). This boat is approved in
compliance with LSA Code 5.1.
