Our current Eight is based on a Karlisch shape. The Karlisch Company produced a number of extremely popular and successful racing shells in the 1960's and 70's. The Janousek JK8 is designed around one of their shells and has proven to be very successful and popular with all standards of oarsmen and women due to its comfort, ease to sit and speed.
