The VX is manufactured from a durable composite material consisting of two 0.5mm Aluminium shells thermo-bonded to a polyethylene core, making composite incredibly durable. Due to the unique properties of this material, it also acts as a great insulator by keeping electrical equipment at a constant temperature and within its operating temperatures. This material is available in almost any colour including brushed stainless effect and mirror finish.
The VX internals are manufactured from a medium density polyethylene and no metal parts hence no corrosion – ever.
The VX is supplied with an innovative sliding door system. The Hatteras Light and the Lighthouse use the same light assembly, providing a 360 degree light pattern. This light pattern is important in a marina because it lights both the dock and finger piers, yet does not shine in the boats because it's directed downward. Best of all, the bulb will last about 3 years and costs about 30 cents per month to operate.
The Hatteras Light is just 30" tall, and can be equipped with two 20 amp GFI or two 30 or 50 amp marine receptacles or a combination of 20, 30, and 50 amp receptacles. If your looking for a stylish pedestal either to match the finish on your pontoon or to offer a contrast to enhance it's appeal, the African Ivory Range is all you need. Manufactured from 4.0mm Acrylic Capped ABS the plastic has a 'pinseal' finish to add extra scratch resistance, ideal on a busy pontoon.

The retractable unit for power supply was invented by Urbaco to facilitate energy supply into a unit that retracts completely into the ground after use. It allows power supply, telephone or water. The Urbaco power supply retractable bollard was awarded the Bronze Pyramid at the 1993 International Innovation Contest in Paris.
With just the turn of a key, the bollard rises alone and locks automatically in the raised position. A push of the foot causes the bollard to retract and lock in the lower position. The waterproof level of the units protects the electrical components from oxidizing and from bad contacts. Wires and extension cables are thus prevented from running on the ground, avoiding possible hazards. Robust design makes your energy supply completely vandal-proof. By inserting a transponder key or card provided with pre-paid credit into the sealed reader, the client can select an energy socket and/or water tap.The distributions will start as soon as the client will have extract his how key and continues until either all the credit available has been used or the operation is cancelled and the residual credit refunded simply by reinserting the key or card. The same electronic key can be used for other services as: access control, showers, etc. Credit detraction is scaled in correspondence to the real consumption of energy and water.
