Standard on the Firehouse are a night light to illuminate the dock and surrounding area, an alarm strobe light with siren, and a fire extinguisher. An optional 24" life ring is available. An innovative feature optional with the Firehouse is a remote control unit that automatically calls selected services when the alarm has been activated. The four-channel transmitter can call medical, fire, police, and general emergency services. The M-Tech Instant Response Fire Cart has been designed for use as a first response to fires in the marina environment. Using sea water and not dependant on piped in water, it can quickly be manoeuvred, set up, and run by one person, to effectively deliver high-pressure water, with an optional mix of fire retardant foam, at high volume (up
to 300 litres per minute, some 4 times the volume of a standard fire hose reel).
The environmental friendly mixture of foam is especially suited for fires fuelled by fuel, plastics and fibreglass, which is often the case in marina fires.

FIRE PEDESTALS
A purpose built fire pedestal with all the features required by the modern marina.
Anti theft - A flashing strobe light and a powerful siren will be activated if the Fire Extinguisher is removed from the pedestal, but a key operated disarming switch will allow regular servicing of the extinguisher

Fire fighting bollards have been specifically designed and manufactured for marinas. The supporting bodywork is made of fibreglass, the colour pigmentation is obtained by means of special gelcoats having a very high chromatic resistance. Two front doors made of transparent Plexiglas give access to the box making the nozzle visible for a rapid intervention in case of necessity.
